Money Moves

Money is where the action’s at this month, as it was last month. Continue to work on new ideas to earn money, invest money, pay off debt or update your financial transactions. It’s worth making the time to do so, especially as the month begins.

Up until the 4th, communication planet, Mercury, remains in Gemini and your joint finance sector. More importantly, there’s a New Moon in Gemini on the 3rd. New Moons are a symbol of new beginnings. They are a great time to set your intentions, initiate action and get things moving.

From the New Moon onwards, you’re wise to be proactive around money, to negotiate hard and make swift progress. The Sun remains in this sector of your horoscope until the 21st, the day of the Solstice.

Plus, on the 9th, the planet, Venus, joins the Sun in Gemini and remains here until early next month. Venus is one of the planets linked to money, also indulgence and abundance. 

Luck & Finances

Plus, there’s another key planet in the mix which, hopefully, will bring a little bit of luck your way. That planet is Jupiter, expansive and protective, linked to good fortune and opportunity in life. 

Jupiter has spent most of this year in Sagittarius and your personal money sector. Therefore, this is a good year to be visionary around money, to take risks and use the timing of astrology to good effect.

This month, Jupiter is especially active and the key date to note is the 16th. This is one day before a Full Moon on the 17th cutting across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac which highlights the financial axis of your horoscope.

Full Moons on their own bring heightened emotions, sometimes drama. They represent completion and culmination. Things can flourish on the Full Moon and it’s a key time to make decisions. Engage your head and your heart during the Full Moon and view your situation with clarity.

Back to Jupiter and, the day before the Full Moon, Jupiter in Sagittarius is square to Neptune in Pisces on the 16th. This is important because the Full Moon falls in Sagittarius and Jupiter rules Sagittarius. Put all this together and it feels fortuitous as if the wheel of fortune is turning.

The Jupiter-Neptune square first took place on January 13, 2019 and they meet again on September 21, 2019. This is their second meeting, the middle connection.

Wherever you find these planets, it’s where you can take a leap of faith and where you’re prepared to dream big. For you, this is about money dreams, hopes and wishes. It’s a speculative combination and Neptune in Pisces is linked to luck. That’s not to say you should bet your life savings on a horse or poker game. Yet, it is a good time to trust your intuition, your natural instincts.

Know Your Stuff

Plus, there’s another planet involved which is Saturn in Capricorn. Saturn teams up with Neptune on the 18th and this is what grounds the over-the-top, enthusiastic Jupiter/Neptune influence. 

Saturn in Capricorn can represent the teacher, the wise soul. It suggests the knowledge or experience you need to make the right moves. It’s also about being in something for the long run, being patient and persistent.

Consider what this might mean for you and where you’re trying to expand your horizons and do things differently. In some shape of form, you’re going to be engaged with events or projects this month that will impact on you financially. 

This might be a legal case, a contract or negotiation, a joint venture or partnership. You’re right to trust your luck but, at the same time, ensure you have all the information at your fingertips and know your business inside-out.

Widen Your Horizons

The law is one area that’s definitely under the cosmic spotlight this month. This is because your planet Mars is currently in Cancer, the sign that rules travel and study in your horoscope, also the law, publishing, media and religion.

Mars has support this month from communication planet, Mercury, which is in Cancer from the 4th to the 27th. These two planets together are a dynamic combination. You can walk (Mars) your talk (Mercury) and make things happen fast.

You might be involved in planning a trip or course or be teaching and actively helping other people. This is a good time to put in the necessary groundwork that will help you make progress in your career in the future.

Up Against It

There is a tricky period, however, when you could be in a stressful situation, whether you’re up against a tight deadline or working hard to meet a commitment. This is the period from the 14th to the 20th, when Mercury and Mars encounter Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. 

This could flag up where your limitations lie. Or perhaps, it’s the voice of authority challenging your path. Ensure travel documents are up-to-date, double check paperwork if you’re planning a course and don’t leave anything to chance.

You may need to push extra hard to work things out. The point of release comes on the Solstice, the 21st, the day when the Sun also enters Cancer. This can bring insight or illumination or a third party who clears the way ahead.

Slowing Down

Use your contacts well, especially on or around the 27th. This the date when talk planet, Mercury, enters Leo and your career sector. Note, however, that Mercury’s slowing down and turns retrograde early July. 

Therefore, you still have a way to go before your career takes off or you can move on at work or with regard to your vocation. In the meantime, you might choose to take a step back, go on holiday and have some much-needed breathing space.
