Scorpio Vibes
November may not be a straightforward month, at least not until the 22nd when the Sun moves into your star sign Sagittarius. Before then, it’s all going on in Scorpio and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Here’s what’s happening in the deep dark water sign:
Planets in Scorpio:
- Mars (action/drive) – all month
- Sun (illumination) – until the 22nd
- Mercury (communication) – 5th to 24th
The Sun is here but so too are Mercury (communication) and Mars (drive). This is taking you deeper still into your psyche and inner world. This might be a great month for therapy, a period of research or honing your psychic skills.
When planets are in Scorpio, you may immerse yourself in self-analysis, go on a spiritual journey or be in preparation for what lies ahead. In brief, this indicates that the important work you do now is on yourself. Turn your attention inwards and delve deep within. The indepth work you put in now could reap you rewards before the end of the year.
The New Moon on the 4th falls in Scorpio, a symbol of new beginnings. Yet, during this New Moon, the Sun and Moon are opposed by unpredictable, erratic Uranus. If you’re feeling out of sorts, slow things down. If life throws you a curve ball, stop and think things through rather than leap in impulsively.
A week later and there’s a Mercury-Mars conjunction in Scorpio on the 10th. This combination is great for walking (Mars) your talk (Mercury) but there’s a proviso. This is the fact that both planets are squared by Saturn in Aquarius and your communication sector. This feels like not being able to speak up or speak out. Alternatively, you may be up against the authorities, a parental figure or someone disapproving.
Mercury and Mars can cut through the crap to get to the nitty-gritty of a situation. Yet, aim to be assertive rather than angry, forthright rather than indirect.
Uranus is involved here too as it opposes Mercury on the 13th & Mars on the 17th. The theme of change and surprises runs deep. You may want to rebel and leave your job or act impulsively. Be wary, however, and don’t do anything that would damage your health. As a Sagittarius, you can sometimes be accident prone and these Uranus clashes are warning you to slow down.
This could be about ditching stress or breaking free from an emotional tie that binds you. There’s a possibility that a job or contract could come to an end on this month. Or, perhaps you’re the one cutting ties. You may surprise other people by your decisions.
Eclipse Season
There’s an additional factor involved as a new eclipse cycle begins this month cutting across the Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac. The first eclipse is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on the 19th and this eclipse cycle completes in October 2023.
This is about your work and health and being of service to others. These are the key areas under the eclipse spotlight. Sometimes during an eclipse, an unexpected event signifies the need for change. There’s a theme of endings before a new beginning. And, with a Full Moon eclipse, you may find yourself caught up in a competitive situation.
This month, you might find that things change fast and it could be tricky trying to keep up with everything shifting, perhaps on a daily basis. Therefore, it’s imperative to keep close tabs on your health and well-being.
If you work in an environment where you’re dealing with angry people or frustrations, this could take its toll. There may be challenges in your local community or an issue with a sibling or neighbour that triggers bad feelings.
Ideally, do your bit to help others, to listen and counsel but don’t take on the woes of the world. This is especially important if you don’t have a lot of energy and you’re starting to feel tired or worn out. If so, stop and turn inwards, rest and retreat. Put your health and well-being first.
Celebration Time
The major turning point comes on the 22nd when the Sun enters your star sign Sagittarius. The Sun is swiftly followed by talk planet Mercury moving into Sagittarius on the 24th. This is great news for you and it may literally feel as if you’re coming out of the dark (Scorpio) and into the light (Sagittarius).
It’s time to be less introvert and more extrovert, to focus on life out in the world and less on sensitive issues. Aim for balance in your life and do whatever makes you feel good. Focus on feel-good vibes and put your personal goals and aims first. Line up a party or celebration and make amends if you’ve recently fallen out with someone.
Also, this month you have Venus in Capricorn and your money sector from the 5th onwards. This means that someone could lend a helping hand. Look for the person who treats you well and spend more time with them.
On the 19th the day of the eclipse, there’s a gorgeous Venus-Uranus trine aspect and this could spell good news for finding work or you’re benefitted financially. Sometimes, one door has to close for a new door to open.
Eclipse Do’s & Don’ts
Eclipse season is here and a new Taurus/Scorpio eclipse cycle is underway. Here are some eclipse tips:
- Try not to fear an eclipse – they are a reminder that we’re not always in control.
- Don’t choose an eclipse date to launch a project or start something new.
- Wait a few days after an eclipse before taking action. Eclipse symbolism is shadowy and hidden.
- Once the eclipse shadow lifts, then you can try to take advantage of any changes that have occurred.
- Know that the eclipses are closely linked to the karmic nodes & wheel of destiny – they offer a turning point.
