Sagittarius (22 November – 21 December)
Love planet Venus enters Gemini and your relationship sector on the 5th where it remains until the end of July. This picks out the month ahead as a top time for your 1-to-1’s, both personal and professional.
Yet it’s love that’s most desirous especially as Venus teams up with your ruling planet Jupiter on the 18th and innovative Uranus on the 30th. These could turn out to be special dates for your 1—to-1’s whether you’re coupling up or getting to know someone new.
Love has a foreign theme too in July and it’s a top month for a holiday romance. Your partner planet Mercury is in your fellow fire sign of Leo from the 6th to the 25th and this looks lovely for meeting someone new abroad or at a place of study.
Plus Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus make some lovely connections on the 7th, 14th, 18th and 30th. There’s no reason to hold back now, to wait for a better time to fall in love, to propose marriage, to reconnect with someone you loved and lost.
Don’t forget the planet Saturn however which has dominated your sign of Sagittarius for quite some time. Saturn rules commitment and you can’t get away with playing the field this month, at least not if you’re married or in a long-term relationship.
It’s fine to flirt if you’re free and single but once Saturn steps in on the 19th and again in strict fashion on the 24th, some key relationship decisions must be made. Your other half might want more from you than a half-hearted declaration or commitment. If you can’t reassure them that you’re in the relationship for the long-haul, the Venus-Saturn opposition on the 24th might prove to be a dampener.
There’s one other area of your life that may flag up challenges throughout July and this is money. Finances are inextricably linked with emotions this month and it’s hard to untangle the two. Both the action planet Mars and the Sun are in Cancer and your joint finance sector until the 20th and 22nd respectively.
Plus, both planets oppose all-or-nothing Pluto in Capricorn and your personal money sector on the 2nd and 10th respectively. This combination can mean that you have a fight on your hands to protect your money or perhaps you discover that your money won’t go as far as you thought.
The Full Moon on the 9th is key in this respect as it too lights up the Cancer/Capricorn axis of the zodiac. This is where tough astrological energy lies mid-month and you can’t avoid dealing with a financial, emotional or sexual issue.
Sometimes when Pluto’s in play, it indicates that it’s time to close the door on a person or situation that you’ve outgrown. You might choose to cut your losses, make a strategic decision about debt or find a way to let go and move on from any situation that leaves you feeling trapped.
The Sun clashes with your ruler Jupiter on the 6th and both Mars and the Sun clash with Uranus in Aries on the 18th and 21st. So being impulsive might not help your situation this month and it’s important to think carefully about where you spend your money and where your priorities lie.
You might dearly want to help out a child or a lover but if you sense that this could be the case of throwing good money after bad, then do think twice. It’s also important that you don’t allow other people to take advantage of your generous and giving nature. Keep close tabs on money matters and don’t get involved with someone who’s veering towards the dark side.
Freedom could also be a key factor in the decisions you make this month because on the 20th, action planet Mars joins communication planet Mercury in your fellow fire sign of Leo. Leo rules travel and study, the bigger picture of life and this activates your desire to see the world, your wanderlust.
Two days later on the 22nd, the Sun joins Mars in Leo and the following day there’s a gorgeous New Moon in Leo on the 23rd. This promises new beginnings so look out for any new travel or study opportunity or someone who storms into your life and turns out to be a huge inspiration.
You might want to team up with a group of friends to arrange a big adventure, a travel experience. Or perhaps you’re in a loving relationship and you recognise that the two of you would benefit from doing things differently and expanding your horizons.
There’s no reason to hold back as July comes to a close so leap into life and do more of what you love. In August, there will be a second New Moon in Leo but this New Moon is a powerful Solar Eclipse.
Sometimes dramatic events take placing during eclipse season so if you get a chance to travel, to learn something new, to improve your life in any way at the end of July, take it. The Sun and Mars unite in Leo on the 27th, a dynamic date for being bold and saying Yes to whatever comes in.
Finally, this month, communication planet Mercury enters Virgo and your career and future sector on the 25th. This is the time to start thinking about what next on the job front or when it comes to your vocation or future goals.
