With National Pizza Day approaching on February 9th, Deliveroo has teamed up with astrologer Sally Kirkman to match each star sign with their perfect pizza.

Sally says, “Astrology is an ancient art, and each of the 12 zodiac star signs has been linked to different foods, spices & herbs for thousands of years. You may be surprised to discover the food orders and choices you make via Deliveroo have a lot to do with your star sign, including your favourite pizza toppings.”

• ARIES – As a fire sign Aries, you’re hot & spicy by nature, just like your favourite pizza toppings. A great choice would be an American Hot pizza with pepperoni, spicy ground beef and lashings of garlic and chilli oil.
• TAURUS – Taurus is an earth sign and a nature lover so a Verdure (Vegetable) pizza would satisfy your love of veg – artichokes, roast peppers and asparagus. For a more unusual choice, try peaches, ricotta, honey and prosciutto as you love soft fruits and sensual flavours.
• GEMINI – As a multi-tasking Gemini, you’re known for being flighty and can find it hard to settle to one food. Therefore, a Quattro Stagioni (Four Seasons) pizza with its four sections – artichokes, tomatoes, mushrooms, ham – would satisfy your craving for different taste experiences.
• CANCER – As a caring Cancer, you tend to love comfort food and your star sign rules dairy. An ideal choice for you would be a delicious Quattro Formaggi (Four Cheeses) pizza, as long as it’s not picante. You tend to prefer cool foods rather than hot.
• LEO – When you’re sunny Leo, you love colour and fun –  so a Mediterranean diet ticks all the right boxes. Cue a Mediterranean-style colourful pizza with yellow & red peppers and tomatoes, courgettes, olives, parma ham, oregano & lots of olive oil.
• VIRGO – Virgo is the health star sign – your body is your temple, and you are known to have a ‘particular’ nature when making decisions. You often choose a vegan or vegetarian diet when it comes to food. A healthy option would be a pizza with squash instead of cheese, chickpeas, broccoli & red onion. A traditional choice would be a Sloppy Vegan Classic with quorn and lots of veg.
• LIBRA – Libras favour peace and harmony and, you often prefer a balanced diet. You have a sweet tooth and enjoy softer foods and sweet, subtle flavours. A Padana pizza – goat’s cheese, spinach & onion – would fit the bill. Even better with a slice or two of pear.
• SCORPIO – Like Aries, your star sign loves a bit of spice. Sexy and intense, you often prefer rich flavours like nduja and gorgonzola. A top choice would be a Veneziana pizza with its strong flavour combination of capers, black olives, pine kernels & sultanas.
• SAGITTARIUS – As a Sagittarius, you’re the hedonist of the zodiac and want it all. You have a big appetite for life and food. Your best choice would be an Extravaganza or Supreme pizza, packed full with pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, red onion, green pepper, mushroom and olives.

• AQUARIUS – Known for being eccentric and non-conformist, if anyone is going to love pineapple on their pizza, the Hawaiian, it’s you, Aquarius. Yet, a more sensible choice for your sensitive digestion might be a chicken and mushroom pizza, foods that are easy to digest.
• PISCES – Pisces is the creative dreamer of the zodiac and your star sign is linked to the sea (your Zodiac symbol is two fishes swimming in opposite directions), and you have a love of all things exotic.  Therefore a Frutti di Mare seafood pizza would be your perfect choice, with lots of prawns, squid, mussels & anchovies.
