Pisces (19 February – 20 March)
If you’re a typical Pisces, other peoples’ influence is often strong in your life and you make sense of yourself, who you are, through your relationship with others. This is particularly significant in September because this is when the Sun is moving through Virgo and your opposite star sign.
The Sun remains here until the 23rd and is joined by communication planet, Mercury, from the 6th to the 21st. Sometimes, when the Sun is in your opposite star sign, you feel depleted energy-wise because the Sun rules vitality and its at the furthest point away from your own star sign, Pisces.
Other times, you find that other people come first and your needs come second. This can come about for all kinds of reasons but notice where in your life you put service to others before self-care or prioritising what you want.
There will be times this month when this becomes self-evident and the New Moon in Virgo on the 9th is a case in point. A New Moon is brilliant for new beginnings but this New Moon opposes your co-ruler, Neptune. Do you need to put more boundaries in place when it comes to love and relationships or are you viewing a relationship through rose-coloured glasses?
Ideally, this is not the time to lose yourself in a fantasy world. Instead, pay attention to the facts and be around people in your life who give you real feedback and can help you see who’s for you and who’s against you.
Also, let’s not forget that there is potential for the New Moon to be an incredibly romantic time for you, as long as you keep your feet firmly on the ground.
People matter this month too, partly because of a Grand Earth Trine that dominates the heavens. It’s exact on the 7th and involves Mercury in Virgo aligning with Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus. This is a theme of combining the old (Saturn) with the new (Uranus). This might be about mixing the generations at a social get-together or heading off to a reunion.
It’s a good month to be making new friends and catching up with old friends. Your connections are where new ideas can flourish so take every opportunity you can to brainstorm and talk things through. This could be particularly helpful if you have any issues with siblings or a neighbour. Events around the 18th could show where trouble lies and bring any issues to the surface.
It’s important that you allow yourself to dream and to do more of whatever inspires you. This might be travel, reading, learning something new, a spiritual path or exploring a new philosophy or beliefs. This is always powerful for you being a Pisces, a child of the cosmos, the wider universe, but especially helpful for you while Jupiter, your traditional ruler, is in Scorpio.
Jupiter moved here last October 2017 and this month, Jupiter is powerful on the 11th/12th. In fact, this is when combining adventure and exploration with friends or wider society is potentially transformative, either self-transformative or in society as a whole.
Plus, love planet Venus enters Scorpio this month on the 9th, where it remains for the majority of the next four months. This would be ideal for falling in love with a foreigner or student or heading off on a honeymoon or romantic trip. One way or another, you want love to be exciting and exotic.
Towards the end of September, you’re returning to old business when action planet Mars moves back into Aquarius and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Then, on the 24th and 27th, it teams up first with Mercury and then the Sun in Libra. The Sun’s move into Libra highlights the Equinox on the 23rd.
Libra represents joint finances and shared resources in your horoscope. You may be working out a good deal with someone from your past or going back to a previous offer. This is a time to do what’s right for everyone concerned and divide any spoils equally.
The Full Moon on the 25th also cuts across the financial axis of your horoscope and it’s helpful to complete a money matter on or around this date.
The following day, Chiron, the wounded healer, returns to Pisces, where it remains until February 18th 2019. This might be significant with regard to what’s happening in your life personally. Why is healing a theme and what potential ‘wound’ do you need to reexamine closely in your life?
You are a fantastic astrologer, thank you for your work.
