Pisces (19 February – 20 March)
This is a good month to crack on with unfinished business, especially if the Mars retrograde phase during July and August put your plans on hold. Action planet Mars is now moving steadily through the star sign Aquarius, urging you to prepare yourself for what lies ahead.
Aquarius is the most hidden sector in your horoscope and often coincides with a clearing out process. This can be external in the form of decluttering, organising, tidying or perhaps you’re sorting out technology or other Aquarius-linked themes, alternative health, for example.

Libra is about joint finances and shared resources on a practical level in your horoscope, but both Libra and Aquarius rule areas that are less easy and less balanced. Think about what causes you undue anxiety or stress, for example, or consider what you’re hiding or what’s hidden. This month’s astrology is urging you to go in deep to find a way to resolve the personal issues which are currently under the cosmic microscope.
This could be about money for some and, if so, it’s a good month to deal with debt or hidden motivations. The New Moon in Libra on the 9th is an excellent date to take the initiative, whether you talk to the bank manager or look at new ways of earning money.
Pluto is pulled into the New Moon pattern and clashes with Mercury on the 3rd and the Sun on the 12th. If you’re avoiding money matters, don’t. Pay close attention to your finances so you’re not throwing away money which could be avoided.
It’s important too that any financial matters between you and someone close are equal, in true Libra style. If you’re doing everything or, the alternative, nothing, look at how you can split the balance better so you both take responsibility for what’s happening. It’s an excellent month to tick off practical matters, however tricky they may seem at first.
Even though this is Libra’s month, the emphasis is on the star sign Scorpio. Talk planet Mercury is in Scorpio from the 10th to the 31st and the Sun moves into Scorpio on the 23rd. It’s Venus, however, who dominates the picture as she remains in Scorpio throughout October.
On the one hand, this is good news for you because Scorpio is a fellow water sign and, if you’re a typical Pisces, you love losing yourself in the realm of imagination and fantasy.

It is important, however, to ensure that you come back down to planet earth and don’t disappear altogether in escapist activities. This is especially true around the Full Moon on the 24th. This is potentially a powerful Full Moon as it cuts across the Scorpio/Taurus axis of the zodiac. This is about education but also adventure and exploration, tapping into your Pisces’ appetite for life.
The Full Moon pulls in Venus in Scorpio and lively Uranus in Taurus too. This whole combination, therefore, feels impulsive and could bring sudden twists or turns. Ensure you’re flexible and adaptable so you can take advantage of a last-minute change of plan. Line up something gloriously wonderful and unique for the last week in October.
Two dates stand out when the Sun and Venus unite on the 26th and Mercury and Jupiter, your ruling planet, unite on the 29th. All four planets are in Scorpio so keep your eyes peeled for new opportunities that come in. The Mercury/Jupiter connection in particular spells good news and is an excellent date to sign up for a course or take a test or exam.
The end of the month could flag up who your allies are and who’s not on your side. You might fall out with a neighbour or someone in your local community. If this is true for you, it will take a loyal and trusted friend to get you back on track.
In brief, new friends could be wild and crazy whereas your old friends keep you anchored on planet earth. It’s up to you to decide who you’re ready and willing to hang out with.
The other major astrology this month is all about Venus. Venus is not only in sensual, mysterious Scorpio bringing foreign lovers your way or wafting her cultural delights in your general direction. Venus also turns retrograde on the 5th and remains on go slow until November 15th. She’s diving even deeper into Scorpio’s magical realm.
This may bring an old lover back into your life or perhaps you’re revisiting passions from your past. There’s a secretive theme to Venus retrograde in Scorpio so someone won’t want to reveal everything that’s going on.
If that person is you, let the adventure unfold. You are going to be prone to temptation during this whole period so proceed slowly and give yourself time and space to feel your feelings. It’s only when Venus emerges from the dark into the light next month that you’ll be able to decide rationally where love or passion is heading.
