Pisces (19 February-20 March)
The good news is that any financial mix-up or straitjacket can be removed as the month of August begins but you may be extra busy because of what takes place. The main reason why finances start to ease now is because you see the back of the Cardinal Grand Cross which dominated much of the first half of 2014. This involved planets clashing across your money axis so there’s not been much of a flow with regard to cash as differing needs and delayed or stopped payments got in the way.
You now get a chance to move on and with work and your everyday lifestyle taking off it looks as if new a job or work project could be the reason for your change of fortune. Jupiter, your traditional ruling planet, entered Leo and your work sector mid-July where he remains until August 2015. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and opportunity and at its best promises happiness and abundance.
This month Leo is the dominant sign not only because it’s Leo’s birthday month but Mercury, the planet of communication, is in Leo until the 15th and Venus, the love planet, picks up the Leo baton on the 12th where she remains throughout the month. This means there’s a lot happening at work and in your everyday routine and it’s worth your while putting in some extra effort to get the balance right.
Jupiter may bring in new work opportunities although you can’t forget that Jupiter is also the planet of freedom and for some this is about letting go of a work commitment that you’ve outgrown or restricts you. Follow your passion and do more of what you love.
There are some key dates which are significant with regard to work and new developments and on the 2nd, Mercury and Jupiter connect in the heavens. This symbolises good news and it’s a brilliant day for a meeting or interview or to make that all important phone call.
The 8th is helpful too when the Sun and Mercury connect in the heavens and team up in an easy aspect with Uranus in Aries and your cash sector. It’s a brilliant day to apply for a job and for some this is a date when you’ll hear good news whether you’re waiting to hear about money owing to you or you’re keen to improve your income.
The weekend of the 9th/10th, there’s a Full Moon which cuts across the Aquarius/Leo axis of your chart when emotions are heightened. This Full Moon feels as if you’ve reached a T-junction if not a crossroads and saying Yes to one opportunity means that you have to say No to another.
Saturn is the planet that’s the potential cause for concern as Saturn in your fellow water sign of Scorpio is square to both the Sun and the Moon. If you’re asked to work or a new job comes in, you may have to turn down an opportunity to travel or go away for the weekend. Either that or postpone a course or something else you want to do to further your education. Good news or a welcome change can come in this month but alongside a disappointment or some sadness.
When Venus, the planet of relating, enters Leo on the 12th, you’ve got support to do what you want either at work or in your everyday lifestyle. This is about sharing child-care with friends or creating a strong team at work and if you need any help then ask for it.
Leo is the sign that rules your health and well-being and it’s an excellent month to eat healthily or start a new fitness regime. Again there’s the theme of collaboration so don’t feel you have to go it alone but team up with friends or colleagues who you know will support you to keep to your agreements and what you want to do.
Your own will-power may not be especially strong throughout August as your planet Neptune likes to go with the flow and Neptune is powerful throughout the month. If there is something you want to achieve, whether it’s booking a big holiday or signing up to a course or something other life-enhancing project, you are going to have to knuckle down and follow through on your commitments.
Mars, the planet of action, joins Saturn in Scorpio this month and this duo is more than a little determined. However, it’s quite a difficult energy for you to deal with unless you’re a tenacious Pisces. Be kind to yourself if you do give up on a chosen goal, especially on or around the 5th and 7th and let yourself off the hook if you know that your long-term goals are shifting.
The 25th is an important date for you with regard to travel, study or a big adventure when Mars and Saturn conjoin in the heavens and you have to decide whether to commit or quit. Saturn has been in Scorpio since October 2012 and will move on at the end of this year. Create a cunning strategy or plan to see you through to the end of 2014 or decide at the end of August where your passion lies.
If you are in a relationship or married, then what you’re able to do is inevitably linked to your other half. There’s a New Moon in Virgo and your relationship sector on the 25th but Neptune, your planet, opposes Mercury on the 19th and the Sun on the 29th. Love is a continual flow and following your own agenda will be more difficult at this time. You can also be easily swayed by other people’s opinions and it’s important that if you do make a big decision late August that it’s made by you and not someone else.
