Pisces (19 February – 20 March)
There’s nothing quiet about this month’s stars and March could turn out to be a pivotal month in your year ahead. This is partly due to the wealth of activity in your sign of Pisces. Here’s what’s happening.
Firstly, the Sun is in your sign of Pisces until the 20th – Happy Birthday! In addition, communication planet Mercury is in Pisces from the 5th to the 22nd and love planet Venus is in Pisces after the 12th. There’s more, because Neptune, your ruling planet, remains in Pisces along with Chiron, representing healing and vulnerability.
It’s a heady mix of planetary energy and one thing’s for sure, you’re going to be truly, madly, deeply Pisces in the month ahead. This is certainly the time to use your own abilities to help not only yourself but other people and the world if you feel so inspired.
Yours is a sensitive, compassionate sign and you have a vivid imagination and love of fantasy. Whether you feel drawn towards a charitable or social mission or whether you want to use your creative or artistic talents to inspire others, do what you do best.
This all sounds rather lovely but below the surface you could also feel lost or confused or know that you’re going through a period of healing. Your emotions are close to the surface and you might feel overly-sensitive or extra vulnerable. If you work with other people on a one-to-one basis, look after yourself as the boundaries between you and others are weak and exposed.
Neptune inspires you and increases your romantic view on life but it’s important to keep an anchor and ground yourself so you don’t float off into the ether. Neptune’s boundless qualities can attract you to unsavoury characters or lead you into temptation. Heal yourself, explore your spiritual side but take care of any addictive behaviour and avoid losing your own identity trying to save someone else.
The more you know about your own character and what works for you and what works against you, the more you can benefit from this pile up of planets in Pisces and use them to change your life for the better. The solar eclipse on March 9th takes place in Pisces and this can be a time of incredible personal development.
This is a New Moon eclipse and once you’ve closed the door on the past, you’re able to stride forward, bring about change and start over. The habits you begin and the projects you undertake this month can turn your life around. Think of the eclipse as a power-point in the heavens and trust in fate.
For some, this month might be about love and falling head over heels for someone who enters your life. Venus rules love and she feels bounteous and abundant in your sign of Pisces. The 20th is potentially super romantic. Plus Mercury is your partner planet and Mercury too is in your sign.
The bigger picture tells you that relationships are important in your life now because Jupiter, your ruling planet, is in Virgo and your relationship sector. This is a year long transit and Jupiter is also in action this month. The 16th is the date to note when Jupiter teams up with the planet of transformation, Pluto, in Capricorn.
Together these two planets can conjure up magic. Pluto’s in your friendship sector so you might be uniting with a good friend or perhaps you and your partner are making plans for the future. This is a grounded energy too because Virgo and Capricorn are earth signs and earth is the perfect antidote to the watery realm of Pisces. This is your anchor, this is what grounds you. Be around people who talk common sense and are supportive and kind.
Your career sector is also strong this month because action planet Mars enters Sagittarius and this sector of your chart on the 6th. If you’ve been lacking drive and ambition, this all changes once Mars revs up your career and vocation sector.
If you have a mission or purpose in life, throw yourself into it. Keep busy and be pro-active. If you don’t know what you want in life, try something new and act your way into a job or vocation. Saturn, the taskmaster of the heavens, is also in Sagittarius where it’s been for some time.
This is the opposite energy to Mars because Saturn tends to slow you down and hold you back whereas Mars represents speed and motion. You might be propelled into a leadership role this month or decide to take on a new responsibility or position.
It won’t be easy and it won’t be a breeze because together Mars and Saturn add pressure to the situation. It might help to know that come mid-April, Mars turns retrograde so view the next six weeks as a go-for-it period and throw yourself into a new project.
Money matters are highlighted after the 20th, the date of the equinox, when the Sun enters Aries and your money sector. Plus on the 23rd, the lunar eclipse, lights up the Aries/Libra axis of your chart and this is about finances. If one form of income comes to an end, you’ll want to find a new way of earning money.
Eclipses tend to close a door in your life but there’s often an opportunity to start over and begin something new. It’s full-on energy and this month’s stars aren’t for the faint-hearted. Be bold and courageous and know that when you trust your intuition and follow your heart, you can take advantage of new beginnings and steer your life in the direction you choose.
There will be a few diversions throughout March and at times you might feel that you’ve lost your way but keep going and trust that you’ll get where you want to be in the end.
