If work and money matters didn’t go to plan in December, you get a second chance to sort things out early in 2018. In fact, it’s imperative that you do so, as there may be an urgency to your affairs.
This has a lot to do with the fact that the unpredictable planet Uranus turns direct in Aries and your money sector on the 2nd. Uranus has been in Aries for the last seven years and it’s rarely a stable period when Uranus lights up your money sector. In fact, you usually find it’s a time of highs and lows, when some risks pay off while others don’t.
Uranus begins to pick up the pace after the 2nd and the good news for you is that Uranus moves out of your money sector on May 15th 2018. By March 2019, Uranus is gone for good. You might miss the speculative nature of Uranus but you could just as easily be more than ready for a quieter and more stable life financially.
Uranus’ change of direction on the 2nd coincides with Mercury’s move through Sagittarius and your career sector up until the 11th. This is important because Mercury is retracing its steps through the peak of your horoscope. It was here late November/early December last year and if plans went on hold, now’s the time to revive them or ask again.
Plus, note the 6th in your diary when Mercury in Sagittarius makes a brilliant connection to Uranus in Aries. This is perfect for genius ideas that could prove lucrative and it’s an excellent date to trust your luck.
Mercury’s move through Sagittarius also paves the way for action planet Mars’ move into Sagittarius on the 26th where it remains until March 17th. Mars rules drive and ambition and this is often a peak period for your career and vocation and a chance to get ahead.
This will be welcome news for you, especially as you’ve recently said goodbye to Saturn in Sagittarius. Having the taskmaster of the heavens in your career sector for most of the time from December 2014 to December 2017 is rarely a breeze. Now’s the time to make things happen, especially with any projects that’s been stuck or on hold.
It’s not a month, however, to go it alone and in fact, there’s power in numbers. As January begins, both the Sun and the planet of relating, Venus, are in Capricorn and your friendship sector until the 20th and 18th respectively.
Focus on your friends and group activities, because this is where life can really make a difference. In fact, you’re wise to team up with influential people, individuals in a position of power who can help you fulfil your dreams and wishes.

Friends and groups are back in the picture mid-month and, in fact, it’s here where there’s a strong emotional connection for you. This is because both the Full Moon on the 2nd and the New Moon on the 17th light up the Cancer/Capricorn axis of the zodiac.
The Full Moon could prove insightful for love, especially a new romance, but both the Full and New Moons highlight social and professional connections. Use the people in your life in a good way and learn to receive from others. The New Moon on the 17th is ideal to join a group or reconnect with a good friend. Jupiter is in your fellow water sign of Scorpio, highlighting your travel and study sector and this is the time to follow your dreams. Do whatever you can to turn them into reality.
In fact, the more energy you put into your long-term goals and adventures, the better. This is because action planet Mars is also in Scorpio until the 26th and teams up with Jupiter on the 7th. In fact, the 7th could prove influential for you and it’s an excellent date to throw yourself wholeheartedly into a new travel or study project.
Back to the 16th and you’re teaming up with other people again, as Pluto is in Capricorn and your friendship and group sector. There’s power in connections now and this planetary aspect confirms it for you. Dig deep to learn more about your close friends and create ties that can’t be broken.

After the 18th, create space for you and be more private about what’s happening in your life. Love planet Venus enters Aquarius and the most hidden sector of your chart on the 18th, which often symbolises of a love affair or an unrequited love that you must keep to yourself.
The Sun joins Venus in Aquarius on the 20th and, on the last day of January, there’s a second Full Moon. This time around it’s a Lunar Eclipse which cuts across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac. This is a clear indication to look after yourself and focus on your routine and health. It’s here where change is needed, but don’t do anything without first stopping and tapping into your natural intuition.
