The most powerful event in Libra this month is a New Moon Solar Eclipse on the 14th. This is the second eclipse in a new eclipse cycle focusing on your star sign Libra and your opposite star sign Aries.
This eclipse cycle continues until March 2025 and it’s likely to be a time of accelerated growth, both for you personally and your close relationships. The first eclipse in this cycle took place on April 20th. Events now may be linked to what happened then.
An eclipse in Libra highlights your image and profile, your personal goals, who you are and who you’re becoming. Solar Eclipses are like a turbo-powered New Moon, when you’re raring to go and ready to take a bold step in life.
There is one proviso, however, because the powerful planet Pluto is pulled into the eclipse picture. Therefore, this Solar Eclipse may signify a beginning that follows on from an ending. Either way, it feels transformative.
Consider why there may be a theme of endings in your life, saying goodbye to the past or letting go of a situation that isn’t working out. The planet Pluto turns direct on the 11th in earth sign Capricorn, only three days before the eclipse.
Capricorn is the star sign at the base of your horoscope, linked to your home and family, also your past and where you come from. This could flag up an issue with a parent. Or, the end of a significant chapter in your life. You may be pulled back into the past to find a sense of completion or resolution.
Pluto clashes with both the Sun and Mercury in Libra on the 21st highlighting the end of an important matter. And, with so much emphasis on your star sign Libra this month, you may recognise that what you want isn’t the same to what other people want or need. An eclipse in your star sign may bring the courage to make a decision or move that’s right for you.
Scorpio Season
Scorpio season begins early this month. Here’s the pattern:

Scorpio is your personal money sector and it’s here where you may need to be focused and go in deep from mid-month onwards. Scorpio not only rules money in your horoscope, also your assets, possessions, your mind-set, your values and self-worth. For you, money is potentially a psychological matter and the more you believe in yourself, the more you can attract prosperity into your life.
Also this month, on the 29th, there’s a powerful Mercury-Mars conjunction in Scorpio. This is great for getting ahead and being proactive to ensure your financial progress and potential success. Plus, expansive Jupiter opposes Mercury and Mars from Taurus and your joint finance sector.
This combination promises freedom, also investment, a bonus or gift. One way or another, there’s a lot of planetary energy swirling around making finances more exciting than usual.
Lunar Eclipse
This is confirmed because there’s a second eclipse on the 28th. This eclipse is part of the eclipse cycle which cuts across the Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac and the financial axis of your horoscope. It’s about money, your own money and the money you share with others.
Money could be a contentious issue later this month. Yet, sex, power and taboo issues are also under the cosmic spotlight. This has a lot to do with this powerful eclipse cycle which began in November 2021 and is completing this month.
The eclipse on the 28th is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. Something hidden may come to light on or around this eclipse that you weren’t aware of. Perhaps, someone not playing by the rules or sharing equally.
Yet, eclipses are about highs and lows. And, this may be a time when you can make money, win a legal matter or boost your earnings. Look out for an opportunity that comes your way, a situation that you may be able to take advantage of and do well in the process.
There is a shadowy feel to eclipse season, so be careful not to get involved in anything underhand. Plus, check out there are no strings attached to a financial transaction or gift and ensure there’s transparency in all your money dealings.
Rest of the Month’s Astrology
October is a powerful month because it’s eclipse season. Yet, what takes place at the start of October is equally significant.
This is when the two inner planets Venus and Mercury change star sign and leave behind the area of your horoscope where they turned retrograde. Venus is your ruling planet and spent an unusually long time in Leo and your friendship and group sector. If there were any falling-outs or misunderstandings, early October is the time to seek a resolution. Venus moves out of her shadow phase on 7th and leaves Leo on the 9th.
This coincides with Mercury ending its long journey through Virgo and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Don’t let resentments or worries linger as October begins. Once Mercury moves into your star sign Libra on the 5th, speak up, get things out in the open and put the past behind you.
