Leo (23 July-22 August)
With five planets in Pisces as the month begins, everything may seem more complex than it actually is. There’s a magical quality to the sign of Pisces but as Pisces rules your 8th house which deals with life’s mysteries, there’s an intangible quality to your stars. Money and your emotional life may be the two main areas of confusion or bliss in your life but with Mercury ruling communication and the mind on go slow until the 17th, take your time with any major decisions.
In fact, if you can go with the flow and tread water, this is your best course of action. See where life leads and wait and see what transpires mid-month. If your money’s tied up with other people, the New Moon on the 11th is the first date when things begin to shift followed closely by the 17th when Mercury turns direct. This is often a time when new information comes to light or news you’ve been waiting for arrives.
Whatever your financial situation – debt, property deal, investment, loan – try and avoid being pinned down or having to make a commitment until the second half of the month. There’s too much flux going on until then.
Pisces is a deeply emotional sign, one of the water signs, so you may find that you’re more closely connected to your feelings and your intuition throughout March. If a relationship has moved on to a new phase, you will feel as if you’re playing catch up and still settling into a new skin or way of life. Venus, the love planet, in Pisces brings compassion and caring and at times romance feels overwhelming.
It doesn’t help if you have a partner who’s unsure of their own wants and needs and if you can give them the space to find their way, do so. They may have their own limitations or blocks to deal with in life and their own emotional baggage to carry around. This could come in the shape of step-children, elderly parents, a living situation that’s stuck or some other scenario. The more you can show compassion even at times when you feel resentful and frustrated, the more possibility there is of moving forward together. It’s not going to be easy, however, so look after your own needs first.
In addition, if you can instil a sense of adventure in your partner and do something fun together, especially in the second half of the month, you will feel freer than you have done for some time. Mars, the action planet, moves into your fellow fire sign of Aries on the 12th and on the 20th, the spring equinox, Mars is joined by your ruler the Sun. This is a wake up moment for you and it feels as if you can begin to throw off the claustrophobia or confusion of the past and start afresh.
All the fire signs, your own sign of Leo included, thrive on motivation and adventure. If you’ve been too long in an emotional maelstrom, break free and do something different, wild and crazy. Uranus, the planet of spontaneity, is also in Aries and at the end of the month Uranus connects to the Full Moon on the 27th. Whether you decide to travel or do something you’ve always wanted to do, whatever you begin feels like a breath of fresh air.
Aries is the independent sign so you may find that you want to head out on your own and have some life experiences for yourself. Going somewhere new gives you a fresh perspective and helps you see things differently. Accept a last-minute invitation or offer to holiday with a friend or go on a course or weekend workshop that promises to turn your life around. It’s the perfect time to be bold and daring and grab your life by the scruff of its neck and give it a shake. Put the past behind you and create a brand new future.
