Moving Forwards

It’s all systems go as August begins. The Sun, your ruler, has been in your star sign, Leo, since July 23rd. Yet, it’s only as the month of August begins that there’s a sense of progress and forward motion.

There are two reasons for this. Firstly, communication planet, Mercury, turns direct on the 1st (July 31st in America). Mercury’s been retrograde, i.e. on go slow since July 8th. Its change of direction often brings new information to light and can release any tensions.

Mercury turns direct in Cancer and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Sometimes, this flags up personal issues, your inner voice, worry or anxiety. You may get a clear sense of what you want or need moving forwards and can let go of the things that have been holding you back.

Mercury turns direct at the same degree as the Lunar Eclipse on July 16th. Therefore, these two events may be linked. An issue with your health or work could be resolved, whether you find the right expert, you get the information you need or your state of mind improves. 

New Moon Leo

This is a top month to develop a positive attitude in life and make the most of whatever comes your way. Also, on the 1st (again, July 31st in America), there’s a New Moon in Leo, a symbol of new beginnings.

New Moons are always a promising time to set your intentions, launch something new and be pro-active. This New Moon is particularly powerful for you as it’s your annual New Moon. Therefore, use the New Moon energy to plan ahead, not only for August but the coming year as well.

When key planets are in Leo, the emphasis is on you, your personal goals and aims. It’s about your image and profile, how other people see you and your physical well-being. 

Attraction Potential

Plus, you have action planet, Mars, in Leo until the 18th and the planet of love and relating, Venus, in Leo until the 21st. The stars are on you side so make the most of this golden opportunity to shine. Love could be scintillating for some of you and the more confident you are, the more you attract other people into your life.

The Sun, your ruler, teams up with love planet, Venus, on the 14th which could prove to be a special time for you. In fact, this loving combination falls one day before the Full Moon which cuts across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac. 

This Full Moon brings emotions to the fore and highlights you and your close relationships. Do something special with your partner mid-month and celebrate with the ones you love.

Some of you may sign or seal an important contract in the first two weeks of August and it would be a great time to do so. Partnership and loyalty are rewarded.

Jupiter Luck

More good news comes in the shape of Jupiter, the biggest planet and the best planet in astrology. Jupiter is currently in a fellow fire sign, Sagittarius, the sector of your horoscope which rules luck, entertainment, creativity, romance & children.

Plus, on the 11th, Jupiter turns direct and remains in forward motion in Sagittarius until early December. This is glorious astrology for you. It feels lucky, fortuitous. You may find yourself in the right place at the right time or be open to a new opportunity that comes your way. This might produce a gift, an award, a competition win.

Jupiter’s in action on the 7th, the 8th and the 21st. All of these dates are promising to take a risk, live life to the full and do more of what you love. This could spell good news for your relationship with a child or perhaps you’re a proud parent. 

It’s also about new love and romance and another reason why August could be a stunning month for you when it comes to your close relationships. Career Change Of Gear
