Gemini Monthly Stars November 2014

Gemini Zodiac StampGemini (21 May – 20 June)

November’s stars are calmer than the month of October but you are having to focus on the more serious side of life as work and money matters are foreground.

Your ruling planet, Mercury, is in the thick of the action moving through three different sectors of your chart so there’s plenty going on.

The areas where you need to make some big decisions are your everyday work, your routine and lifestyle and your health.

All these sectors are ruled by the sign of Scorpio and the taskmaster of the heavens, Saturn, has been in Scorpio for the last two years.

This is the beginning of the end as Saturn moves on from Scorpio at the end of next month and it’s important to note what took place last month as this was the signpost, the guide pointing you in a specific direction.

Last month, Mercury turned retrograde at 2 Scorpio on October 4th and a few weeks later on October 23rd there was a Solar or New Moon eclipse at 0 Scorpio. Eclipses symbolise key turning points in the year when a door’s closed or you decide that things have to change. Whatever you’ve been mulling over in your head since last month, it’s time to get serious and start taking the necessary steps so you can move on.

This month, the key date to make any big decision with regard to your work and your health are the 6th when there’s a Full Moon cutting across the Taurus/Scorpio axis and the 10th when Mercury returns to 2 Scorpio, the degree where it turned retrograde over a month ago. This is ideal for re-applying for a job, returning to a conversation that you initiated early October or in some other way picking up where you left off.

However, this is potentially a tough month for the areas of your life mentioned, work and/or your lifestyle and your health because Saturn is picking up speed and makes three close conjunctions on the 13th, 18th and 26th to Venus, the Sun and your planet Mercury respectively.

Saturn’s influence may mean you’re doing a job you hate, you could be working lots of overtime and feel worn out or perhaps you’re unemployed or bored with your current position. Health-wise too Saturn isn’t a breeze and if you’ve experienced any niggles or low energy whilst Saturn has been in your health sector, now’s the time to get them checked out or to consider what you need to do differently.

This is the major issue of the month that requires your attention. Your flighty nature is the antithesis of Saturn’s slow, slightly gloomy energy. When Saturn moves on at the end of December ideally you want to be able to put any work or health difficulties behind you and start the new year afresh. This is what you’re working towards however difficult it may feel right now. Listen to your body and take a long hard look at your everyday routine and think what’s going to make the biggest difference.

Money too is under the cosmic spotlight this month and Mars is strong and powerful in the sign of Capricorn ruling your joint finances and shared resources. This is an excellent month to consider your financial future and to ensure you’re on top of money matters. Spend some time working out your budget, sorting out debts or checking investments, savings, mortgages, insurances, etc. Do what you can to ensure your money’s working for you.

Mid-month Mars clashes with the Uranus/Pluto square on the 10th and 13th respectively and this isn’t necessarily anything new. It’s a reminder or wake-up call that you need to think of the future and where you’re heading. This may mean thinking about a pension or investing in a property or something similar but one way or another looking at how secure you will be both financially and emotionally further down the line.

Aside from the all serious stuff of sorting out work, money and health concerns, this is a lively month for love. Mercury, your ruling planet, spends the first week of the month in your fellow air sign of Libra and it’s a great time to catch up with someone you met in September or October.

Libra is the sign that rules romance and love affairs and Saturday 1st is a fun date for love. Ask someone out or arrange a date with your other half but make sure you have fun.

Later in the month, the personal planets begin to move into your opposite sign of Sagittarius ruling your 1-to-1’s and personal and professional partnerships are highlighted. Venus, the love planet, enters Sagittarius on the 16th and the 27th is an especially lively date for meeting someone new when Venus and Uranus connect in the heavens. Love and friendship are linked.

Venus is joined by the Sun in Sagittarius on the 22nd and your planet Mercury also enters Sagittarius on the 28th. So this is where you want to be putting your energy, into love and relationships and all partnerships in general. This may be just what you need especially if you’ve been feeling overworked, stressed or bored with Saturn’s heavy influence.

The New Moon this month also falls in Sagittarius, right at the beginning of the sign, on the 22nd, the same day as the Sun enters your relationship sector. This is brilliant for making a fresh start and a great date for love and romance in general.

Think new beginnings and ensure you do something special. If you would love nothing more than a Christmas romance, here’s your opportunity to get pro-active, join a dating agency or simply snuggle up to the one you love.
