Gemini Monthly Stars June 2015

prayer candles, GeminiGemini (21 May – 20 June)

If you’re a typically sociable Gemini you will be in your element this month.

There’s a lot of exciting planetary activity which focuses on your sign of Gemini plus two key sectors of your chart. Both these sectors of your chart are about people & communication, perfect for you.

So things are on a roll now and life begins to pick up pace. However, your ruling planet Mercury is still retrograde, i.e. on go slow until the 11th. Yet even this shouldn’t stop you throwing yourself into life and having a good time. It’s a powerful Mercury retrograde period for you as the planet of communication is in your sign.

This is perfect for thinking things over, a time of review and renewal. Check on where you’re heading in life and why. Rediscover your sense of purpose, look at which areas of your life require some TLC (tender loving care), be mindful.

When you have planets in your own sign, this is the perfect opportunity to consider your personal goals and ambitions and where you’re heading in life. Plus, you can quickly gather speed this month and start to set the wheels in motion.

Traditionally, Mercury retrograde isn’t the time to make big decisions. Yet that shouldn’t stop you in moving things along at a fast pace. The Full Moon on the 2nd is a powerful one for you as it cuts across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of your chart. Full Moons bring clarity, the light of the moon is at its brightest and you see your situation clearly.

This is potentially a Full Moon of celebration, wonderful for a party or get-together. Plus trust your intuition especially when it comes to relationships. This is an emotional Full Moon and whether you meet someone new, you commit to a relationship or you feel confident about a new work partnership, take note. Full Moons bring matters to completion when you see your own life clearly.

Plus, there’s some lovely planetary activity backing up Mercury turning direct. This is because one of the most important planetary events this month is the third and final Jupiter-Uranus trine aspects which is exact on the 22nd. Jupiter is In Leo and Uranus is in Aries, both motivated, enthusiastic fire signs.

More importantly for you, this highlights the people sectors of your charts. Leo rules your neighbourhood, your local community, new faces and new places. Aries rules friends, groups and wider society. This is where you will find luck and opportunity in the month ahead.

Whether the people you meet and hang out with inspire you, whether you’re having lots of fun, whether the conversations you have are life-saving, whether you simply feel that you’re on track and moving in the right direction, this is a fantastic combination for you.

Both signs, Leo and Aries, make harmonious aspects to your own sign, so there’s plenty of opportunity to have fun, join in the debate, meet up with other people, get your ideas across. Think communication, think socialising, brainstorming, make the most of life.

Mars (action) in Gemini connects with the Jupiter-Uranus trine on the 5th and 9th, the Sun (identity) in Gemini does the same on the 8th and 10th. Plus the Sun and Mars meet in your sign of Gemini on the 14th. This is action packed and it all coincides with Mercury moving towards direct motion, flicking the switch from off to on and getting back in the groove.

It really is a go-getting combination for you, so get yourself out there and work that Gemini charm. Plus, if you wanted more confirmation that this month is all about you, your ideas, your plans, making things happen, the New Moon on the 16th also takes place in your sign of Gemini.

This is a symbol of new beginnings, the chance to start over, to launch a new project, to sow seeds that can reap you rewards in weeks and months to come. Speak up, share your voice, make sure you’re heard. You’re in the planetary driving seat and it’s full speed ahead.

There are a couple of question marks this month. The first involves Neptune, up at the top of your charts, ruling your career and vocation, your status and reputation. This is about where you’re heading in life, your future and Neptune’s prominence suggests a time of soul-searching, questioning.

Neptune turns retrograde on the 12th, the day after your ruling planet Mercury turns direct on the 11th. Then on the 23rd, Mercury is square to Neptune. This is the third time that these two planets have clashed in the heavens since early May.

This suggests a sea-change, things shifting for you on a deep level. You may be finding it hard to pursue your dream vocation, you might be disillusioned with your current path in life, you may have some really creative and imaginative plans that you want to bring to reality. Yet you feel stuck or all at sea.

Take your time, don’t rush the process. There’s another important planetary factor which can help you with regard to timing. This is Saturn, the task-master of the heavens, moving back into Scorpio, another work sector of your chart. This takes place on the 15th and Saturn remains here until September 18th. It’s a three month process.

So you’re having to go back over the past in some way as Saturn was in Scorpio from October 2012 until December 2014. This can indicate a return to an old issue or problem around work, a period of unemployment, a tricky boss.

You might be involved in bringing a project to completion, tying up loose ends, knowing that you have to seek closure before you can begin again. Life is asking you to notice what’s going on and what you would ultimately like to be different when it comes to work, your career, your vocation.

Yet whilst all this is going on, you’re the sign of the moment and there’s plenty to keep you happy and occupied. Don’t miss out on the buzz, enjoy the new opportunities, the people you meet and ensure that June is a month to remember.
