It’s a Full Moon weekend that’s potentially mysterious and magical and, at times, downright complex and confusing. Looking at all the astrology taking place, it feels as if the time is right to lose yourself, in a good way.
This is because the Full Moon cuts across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of the zodiac, representing the lower and higher mind. Gemini is the communicator, Sagittarius the seeker & explorer and both signs are linked to learning and knowledge. Gemini rules the chatter of the marketplace and Sagittarius rules foreign connections.
This weekend’s Full Moon highlights the bigger picture as Gemini and Sagittarius favour curiosity and exploration. Write down your ideas, read a good book or meet up with people who you enjoy talking with about life, the universe and everything.
The Jupiter Factor – Party
There are some key planets pulled into this Full Moon. Firstly, the Sun in Sagittarius is moving ever closer to its annual conjunction with lucky Jupiter on Monday 26th November. Jupiter expands what it touches and Sagittarius is the sign of the hedonist, the party-goer who loves to live life to the full.
If you’re out and about at the weekend, there’s a seductive vibe. Be aware that it will be easy to go over the top, to lose yourself or have one drink too many. If you’re ready to let your hair down, go for it.
Alternatively, use the Sun/Jupiter combination to make future plans and line up some new experiences or an adventure. Think big and pursue any activity that adds meaning or purpose to your life.
The Mars Factor – Stress
Action planet, Mars, is now in watery Pisces and sits square to the Full Moon. This adds stress and tension to the mix. Mars in Pisces is potentially antsy and stroppy as Mars dives into the emotional realm. It’s easy to feel as if you’re losing your way or you don’t know where the heck you’re going.
Square aspects clash, so be aware that tempers could flare during this Full Moon (and on Thanksgiving!). It hints at trouble. Don’t stir the pot, unless you’re willing to get burned.
The Mercury Factor – Crossed Wires
Mercury rules the Gemini Full Moon and Mercury is currently retrograde, i.e. on go slow in Sagittarius. This is an indication to rush less and slow down. You could attempt to charge through life at full tilt but this wouldn’t be advisable.
The whole planetary vibe of this weekend’s astrology is to create space in your life so you can connect with what’s valuable and worthwhile. In the coming fortnight, deal with what’s important rather than urgent and keep your plans flexible. Mercury retrograde is ideal for adopting an alternative perspective and looking at a situation upside-down, back-to-front and thinking outside of the box
Crossed wires is a classic Mercury retrograde theme and it would be easy to say too much during this Full Moon. Think before you speak as Mercury is in a wide conjunction to the Sun/Jupiter in Sagittarius.

The Neptune Factor – Surrender
The theme of surrender is evoked by Neptune turning direct in Pisces on Sunday 25th November. Aim to flow with life rather than charge off in the wrong direction. Surrender to life as it is and accept when and where you’re not in control.
The astrology this weekend is all about the mutable signs, especially Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces. This is teaching you to ebb and flow with life. Thank you Sally for your for interesting article on the Full Moon. The spirit of the big full moon has lasted longer than the weekend of Nov 23 for me. It has marked the ending of a tension filled stressful era relationship and career wise & in so many other different ways. Hopefully, the beginning of a new better one is around the corner.
