The Mars Factor

There’s some important astrology taking place for you early in the month. Firstly, action planet, Mars, is in Libra and your career and vocation sector, where it remains until the 19th. Therefore, if you’re feeling ambitious and want to get ahead, you’re in tune with your stars. Mars represents drive and courage, speed and assertiveness.

However, there are some conflicting factors taking place which suggest you might find yourself up against tough competition. The main contenders are Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and your star sign. Last month, on October 27th, Mars clashed with Saturn. This month, on the 5th, Mars clashes with Pluto.

For some of you, this could mean the end of the road for a project or job in which you’ve been heavily involved. For others, it means you’re taking on the people at the top and willing to get there no matter what. Saturn and Pluto can add a ruthless edge to your personal tool box. 

It’s important to pay close attention to your energy levels during the start of the month. Pluto in particular adds an extreme edge to events, whether you’re overly busy or the opposite and out of work. Either way, this combination could prove stressful. Keep your physical levels up during this phase and work out any anger or frustration down the gym.

It’s not worth getting involved in a major argument on or around the 5th, as Pluto can deliver a final punch. Wait for better stars before dealing with a challenge or full-on confrontation. 

Mars in Libra makes a promising planetary aspect on the 12th when it teams up with Jupiter in Sagittarius. This feels like a release from tension or the chance to break free from a testing situation. It’s about finding a way to make things work for you, so you’re heading in the right direction with your work, career or long-term goals. Seek out new opportunities when Jupiter’s strong.

Venus-Jupiter Vibes

There’s another planet in Sagittarius this month and that planet is Venus. She’s in the most hidden sector of your horoscope from the 1st to the 26th. Plus, on the 24th, Venus and Jupiter come together in Sagittarius. 

This is a lovely combination of the two best planets. For you, it’s about faith or your spiritual path, believing in yourself. It’s the sort of planetary connection that can coincide with miracles. 

This conjunction falls two days before a New Moon in Sagittarius on the 26th, a symbol of new beginnings. If you can take some time out during this period in the month, go for it. Sagittarius rules travel and broadening your horizons. A change would be as good as a rest.

Planning & Preparation

Also, it’s important that you prepare yourself ready for Jupiter’s move into your star sign Capricorn on December 2nd. This could bring lift off to your personal goals and aims, as you find opportunity falls in your lap. Recharge your batteries before then and ensure you do any preparation if you’re getting ready to step up a level.

Preparation is the buzz word when your planet Saturn teams up with Neptune in Pisces on the 9th. These two planets first came together on January 31st, then on June 18th. Together, they can turn dreams into reality. Use visualisation techniques to draw up a wish list. And, tap in to the side of your nature that is good at planning and working out the steps to reach your goals.

The weekend of the 8th-10th is perfect for any form of long-term planning, especially within a group or with friends by your side. You may be able to bring a project to completion that started at the beginning of the year. Either that or you realise you’re now ready to get on with your big plans and take a leap of faith. Do your preparation fully and get ready for lift off next month.

Friendship Themes

A key feature of this month’s astrology is about believing in yourself and not doubting your talents or capabilities. Ensure you have people in your life who support you and are there to hold you up, when you’re fearful of falling. 

Friendship and group ventures are a big theme this month because Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio and this sector of your horoscope until the 20th. This often flags up a complex picture, when misunderstandings kick in and you don’t read other people particularly well. Be aware of this and avoid leaping to conclusions.

You need to wait for Mercury to turn direct before you know what’s what, whom you can trust and where you need to speak up. This takes place one day after Mars enters Scorpio and your friendship and group sector on the 19th. This adds boldness and courage to the mix. It’s likely to be a dynamic time for you up until early January 2020, while Mars storms through this sector of your horoscope.

This is great news for playing an active role within a group, club or society. Be bold, confront other people, give tough love. And, talking of love, there are a couple of factors this month which suggest love and romance are complicated.

Love Vibes

Firstly, the Full Moon on the 12th takes place in Taurus and your romance sector. This is a gorgeous Full Moon which can flag up a period of sensuality and affection. Yet, Scorpio’s influence adds a secretive or private theme. Also, on the 11th, there’s a key Sun/Mercury conjunction in Scorpio. 

Be wary at this time of mixing friendship and love, which looks complex. Listen out for insights close to the Full Moon which can be revealing. You might discover that someone has the hots for you and it’s a surprise.

This is also the theme of the Mars-Uranus clash on the 24th when Uranus is in Taurus and your romance sector. This brings excitement your way but the unexpected too. Keep your options open when it comes to love and keep friendship and love separate.

However, as you have Venus, the planet of love, heading into Capricorn on the 26th, you can’t count out a new love adventure. Make the most of your close relationships, especially on the 28th when Venus and Uranus unite spicing up your love life.
