Capricorn (22 December – 20 January)
People count early in March as you have a pile up of planets in the touchy-feely water signs, Pisces and Scorpio, and two of the sociable sectors of your horoscope. This is not the time to be on your own, instead reach out to people close to you. Whether you want to ask for help and support or offer fun and friendship or vice versa, encourage the flow of love and connection in your life and the lives of others.
If you’re looking for love or companionship, the first few days of the month are ideal for making new connections, seeking out friendship and people of like minds. There’s a gentle vibe to your communications, offering you an opportunity to connect on a deep level with people in your life. If you’re seeking a soul-mate connection, this is when you’re most likely to find it, from the 1st to the 4th.
Also, there’s a Full Moon early in the month on the 2nd, which cuts across the Virgo/Pisces axis of the zodiac. Full Moons are a time of celebration and this Full Moon lights up the social sectors of your horoscope.
This is about education and learning and being inspired by other people. Attend a talk, read a fascinating book and expose yourself to new knowledge. If new invitations come your way, however unusual, it’s worth following them up. Step outside of your comfort zone and explore new ways of thinking and alternative activities.
The theme of learning and communication continues until the 20th when the Sun changes star sign from Pisces to Aries. Luck and good fortune are linked to your close connections and friendship until then. The 1st, 2nd and 13th are particularly notable dates for lucky coincidences.
Plus, the New Moon on the 17th, a symbol of new beginnings, highlights the star sign Pisces and the part of your horoscope connected to making new friends and seeking out new places. If you want to go back to school, here’s your opportunity and the more active you are in your local community, the more content and fulfilled you will feel.
This is an ideal time for networking, sales, making new connections and a fertile period for ideas and brainstorming. Trust your intuition in knowing who to contact and when. Give in to the romantic side of your nature too, whether you lose yourself in writing, you read poetry or you find another activity that taps into your soul.
This is also a good month to reconnect or catch up with siblings or relatives and home and family affairs play a key role in your life. The sociable planets Mercury and Venus both move into Aries and your home and family sector on the 6th.
This is gorgeous for engaging with the ones you love and opening up your home to other people. The 20th in particular is a stand-out date when the Sun enters Aries, the day of the Equinox. This is the start of a new zodiac cycle and, in the northern hemisphere, it coincides with the onset of spring.
Traditionally, this is the time to make a fresh start, whether you’re on the move, you’re spring cleaning or changing around your family or living space in some way. The 11th could prove to be a significant date, perhaps because you’re taking a trip down memory lane or you’re ready to let go of the past.
There are other reasons, however, why you may be engaging with family members more than usual. If you have any issues between you, this is a good month to try and sort things out for the best. You have love planet Venus in Aries, which can help bring people together or heal a rift.
It does look, however, as if you may have your own agenda at times or perhaps you feel left out of a family affair or celebration. Your ruler Saturn is now in your star sign Capricorn and, on the 11th, 13th and 29th, Saturn clashes with the fast-moving planets in Aries. This can evoke a theme of loneliness or sadness around the past.
There’s another reason why you might sense you’re on a personal mission, especially after the 17th when action planet Mars moves into your star sign Capricorn. Mars is a go-getting ambitious planet and is strong in your star sign.
This is the empire builder and you may be more than ready to pick up the pace and get things moving. You want progress in your life and fast with Mars in your star sign. If you’re involved in any kind of property deal, you won’t take kindly to other people’s incompetence or delays.
You could be up against other people later in the month and the 24th is particularly competitive or confrontative when the Sun and Mars clash. Channel your anger constructively but use your passion to put forward your own viewpoint, beliefs or aims.
Another factor to consider is Mercury’s change of direction on the 23rd. Mercury is the communication planet and will be retrograde, i.e. on go slow for three weeks until April 15th. This slows things down and you’re wise to stop, reflect and review your situation.
Put off any major home, property or family matter until mid-April when a stunning New Moon takes place on April 16th, the day after Mercury’s change of direction. This is when progress can be made and fast.
The end of March could still spring some surprises and if you want or need to connect with loved ones or throw a party at your place, choose the 29th or 31st when there’s a second Full Moon in the month, a Blue Moon.
This one highlights the Libra/Aries axis of the zodiac and your foundations. Another indication perhaps that you’re keen to put your ambitions first, whatever other people think or say.
