More importantly perhaps, the planet of relating Venus is in your star sign throughout December. Venus in your star sign often makes you more attractive to other people. It’s excellent for making the right kind of connections and generally schmoozing around. Work your popularity and make the most of this extended stay of lovely Venus in your star sign Capricorn.
Venus Retrograde
Also this month, Venus turns retrograde on the 19th and remains on go slow until January 29, 2022. As Venus rules love, this may be a sign of an affair or an ex coming back into your life.
Alternatively, it could mean a shift in a relationship, time spent apart or finding it hard to keep the lines of communication open. The 29th may turn out to be the best date to talk love and relationships, when the planet of communication Mercury aligns with Venus in Capricorn.
There is a proviso, however, and this is the fact that Venus turns retrograde conjunct Pluto, the planet of power and transformation. In fact, these two planets conjoin on the 11th & the 25th. Together, they conjure up themes of intensity, obsession and secretive behaviour.
You may be the one who needs to keep your cards close to your chest to protect yourself or the ones you love. Perhaps, you’re up against someone in a position of power and it requires a strategic move on your part to come out on top.
There’s a hidden theme to events during this two week period in the middle of the month. Play your cards carefully, be aware when you’re too attached to an outcome and explore your motivations and emotions in depth.
Solar Eclipse
Also this month, there’s a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on the 4th. Eclipses are associated with drama and change, so this is potentially complex astrology. Sagittarius is the star sign before Capricorn and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. You might find yourself in the dark and need to feel your way forward carefully.
This eclipse is part of the Gemini/Sagittarius eclipse cycle which began in June 2020 and completes this month on the Full Moon in Gemini on the 19th. This eclipse cycle is about your work and routine, your lifestyle and your health. Also, rest and retreat, your inner world and personal transformation.
Eclipses bring change to your situation. They’re neither good nor bad but often coincide with times when external events have a knock on effect in your life. Work is one area where you’re wise to tread carefully and it’s a good idea to get on the right side of other people.
Consider what this means for you. Perhaps, there’s someone you don’t get on with at work or you find out about a secret enemy, someone working against you. This isn’t a good time to try and manipulate or control others, even if you feel hard done by.
During the month of December, you’re wise to take a step back. The Sun’s in Sagittarius and the most hidden sector of your horoscope until the 21st and talk planet Mercury’s here until the 13th. Plus, action planet Mars picks up the baton in Sagittarius from the 13th to January 24, 2022. This favours inner work and time out to listen to your inner voice.
Be kind to yourself. Learn new ways to relax and tap in to your inner voice, your natural wisdom. Be patient and look for the deeper meaning in whatever’s happening. The universe is always talking to you. You can hear all kinds of things when you stop, watch and listen.
Saturn Square Uranus
It’s also important to point out the Saturn-Uranus clash on the 24th as Saturn is your ruling planet. This may be about your money and values, what you hold dear. This could flag up what you can and can’t afford. When you have Saturn in Aquarius, you take a sensible approach towards finances.
Alternatively, there may be a deeper reason why money triggers strong emotions. You could have your own set opinions about the economy and what’s right and wrong in these unique times.
It’s interesting timing for the Saturn-Uranus clash because Jupiter leaves Aquarius and your money sector later this month. Before it does so, however, Jupiter makes helpful connections to Mercury and the Sun on the 11th & 20th. Trust your intuition around money on these dates. If you make the right moves, this could benefit you financially.
Jupiter Enters Pisces
Finally this month, the planet of luck and opportunity Jupiter is on the move. On the 29th, Jupiter enters water sign Pisces where it remains until May 10, 2022. Jupiter’s already been in Pisces from May 13 to July 28, 2021. Look back to this period to see what occurred..
This is an important shift in the heavens and feels significant for you. Jupiter in Pisces breathes life and vitality into your communication sector. Pisces represents all forms of communication – talking, gathering and sharing ideas and information, making new friends and learning new skills.
You might go back to school or decide to gain new qualifications. You could embark on a new role as a voice-over artist or blogger or a new job as a journalist. While Jupiter’s in Pisces, use your voice to the best of your ability as this could be the start of something big.
