Romance and love relationships may be hotting up this month. As the month begins, you have the planet of love Venus in Cancer and your relationship sector until the 11th. Plus, the passionate planet Mars is in Taurus and your romance sector until the 20th.
The 2nd & 3rd could be a whirlwind for love and relationships but the key dates are the 1st/2nd. This is when Mars and Uranus come together in Taurus.
Together, these two planets are impulsive & rebellious. You could leap head first into a new love relationship or affair. Or, perhaps you leap out of one. Either way, it’s likely to be a spontaneous move or decision.
It’s not only about love, however, and you may be on a mission to make the most of life, come what may. There’s a feel of ‘seize the day’ about Mars & Uranus aligning with the karmic North Node, also in Taurus.
Taurus rules the sector of your horoscope that’s not only about romance but all the good things in life. This includes children & pregnancy, creative activities, self-expression, luck and fun.
You could throw caution to the winds and leap into a new adventure. This might prove controversial or flout convention. It’s likely to be a bold and exciting choice but potentially wild and irresponsible.
As long as you’re not foolhardy and take unnecessary risks, this rare triple conjunction at the start of the month is urging you to embrace what you love. Taurus is your creativity sector and what you give birth to. With Mars here, you may have a huge appetite for pleasure and enjoyment.
Yet, it does feel as if a choice you make this month means that you might have to give up something else. Perhaps, you recognise that you can’t have everything. This may become clear to you on or around the 14th when conflicting planetary aspects take place.

Money Matters
Money matters are under the cosmic spotlight throughout the month. This is because the Sun is shining bright in Leo and your joint finance sector up until the 23rd. Plus, talk planet Mercury is in Leo up until the 4th and the planet of relating Venus enters Leo on the 11th.
Therefore, this is a great month to talk money and finances and get things sorted out. If you’re in the middle of a property move, the 18th could bring a little bit of luck your way. This combination is good for sharing resources with family and pooling expenses too.
The Full Moon on the 12th is likely to be a pivotal moment in the month. This powerful Full Moon cuts across the Leo/Aquarius axis of the zodiac and the financial axis of your horoscope. Full Moons often bring enlightenment or intuition. You may be keen to make a decision about a financial matter and fast.
During this Full Moon, your ruling planet Saturn sits next to the Moon in Aquarius and your personal money sector. Be careful that you don’t dip into fear or scarcity during this Full Moon. At the same time, be wary of making an impulsive financial risk.
This is because the Mars-Uranus conjunction in Taurus squares the Full Moon and this combination is spontaneous and unpredictable. Yes, you could win big during the Full Moon period but ensure your finances are safe and secure too.
August is a month when the Saturn-Uranus square aspect is big news once again. This was the dominant planetary aspect of 2021 pitting rules (Saturn) against liberty (Uranus). If there was a major issue last year regarding children, a lover, money and debt, be wary how you proceed.
Saturn and Uranus are moving back closer to a square aspect and are in conflict up until the end of the year. You might be the one who’s trying to rein things in, to make the sensible decisions.
This could involve IVF, a situation regarding a child or grand-child or someone who owes you money. Any financial-related matter is likely to peak from the 11th to the 14th, the 27th & 28th. This is when arguments may happen or someone close acts unexpectedly. When in doubt, step in and take charge.
Also, you could be asked to do a presentation around money. Or, you might be talking to your bank manager or a financial expert. One way or another, this is the month to be improving your financial situation and aiming to boost your earnings. Joint ventures in particular are well-starred.
Travel & Study Plans
When planets are in Leo, there tends to be drama. This isn’t always easy for you being one of the earth signs as you don’t always deal well with other people flying off the handle or behaving badly.
Yet, there’s another planetary influence this month which could be helpful for you. From the 4th to the 26th, the planet of communication Mercury is in earth sign Virgo. Then, on the 23rd, the Sun shifts star sign and joins Mercury in Virgo. Four days later, there’s a New Moon in Virgo on the 27th.
This is a slower and steadier pace and you may be glad for a rest or a break from feisty fire sign activity. Virgo rules your travel and study sector so it’s an ideal month to take time out or go somewhere different. A change of scene could help you gain a better perspective on an emotional or financial situation.
You may have had enough of more serious issues and be ready to embrace new experiences. You might start a course or be keen to expand your learning. Seek meaning in life beyond the everyday.
Mars Gemini
Finally, work could take off big-time once ambitious Mars moves into Gemini and your work and lifestyle sector from the 20th onwards. Plus, communication planet Mercury changes star sign once again on the 26th and enters Libra and your career and vocation sector.
Therefore, the end of the month is great for getting ahead and getting things done. Plus, you’re going to have Mars in Gemini for an unusually long time, until March 2023.
This is because Mars turns retrograde here in the last two months of 2022. Mercury also turns retrograde next month in Libra, so be aware that there could be some twists and turns regarding your career or your future path.
It’s best to get ahead while the going’s good so line up meetings, interview or work-related initiatives sooner rather than later.
Be aware that office politics could be stressful at times as Mars is linked to anger and arguments. Notice where you feel under pressure, when you feel stressed and whether you’re wise to take a step back. You may only be able to do so much before you need to take your foot off the pedal and slow things down.
