Solar Eclipse

This month, there is a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on the 14th. This follows on from the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini on November 30th.

Eclipses comes in pairs and are associated with drama and change, so this is potentially complex astrology. You might find yourself in the dark mid-month and need to feel your way forward carefully. 

This eclipse is part of the Gemini/Sagittarius eclipse cycle which began in June 2020 and completes in December 2021. For you, it’s about your work and routine, your lifestyle and health. Also, rest and retreat, your inner world and personal issues.

Eclipses bring change to your situation. They’re neither good nor bad but often coincide with times when external events have a knock on effect in your life. Work is one area where you’re wise to tread carefully and it’s a good idea to get on the right side of other people.

Saturn & Jupiter – Changing Star Signs

The big news, however, is the fact that your ruling planet, Saturn, is on the move this month. And, Saturn’s not alone. This year, Saturn changes star sign on the 17th two days before big planet Jupiter changes star sign on the 19th.

Jupiter is the planet of luck and opportunity, also the planet of freedom. Whereas your planet Saturn represents discipline and authority, hard work and achievement. These two planets have been in your star sign, Capricorn, throughout 2020, alongside Pluto, the planet of transformation.

You may have experienced major life events this year that have forced you to reassess your wants and needs. It might have been a significant year of personal growth when you received more exposure out in the world.

This key period in December is important for you. Jupiter & Saturn leave Capricorn, just before Mercury & the Sun enter Capricorn on the 20th & 21st respectively.

Saturn & Jupiter – Aquarius

On the 21st, Jupiter and Saturn make their Great Conjunction in Aquarius, the star sign after yours. Aquarius rules money in your horoscope, personal finances, possessions and what you value highly in life. 

You may be seeking a new opportunity to boost your finances. You might be ready to pay off debt that you’ve run up. You could be getting ready to fight a legal case or want to expose corruption or financial wrong-doing.
