Moon Child
October is a peak month in 2020. Two of the personal planets are retrograde, Mars and Mercury, and there’s not one but two Full Moons. The Full Moons bookend the month, one on the 1st and one on the 31st.
This is significant for you as you are a Moon child, the Moon being your ruling planetary body. Expect emotions to run high, especially close to the Full Moon periods. The Full Moons are the time to make big decisions.
Mars Retrograde
The first Full Moon on the 1st falls in Aries and your career and vocation sector. This area of your horoscope is a hot spot right now, but not always for the right reasons.
This is because action planet Mars is retrograde in Aries throughout October and this can be a time when you’re not in control. Plans take a reverse step. Or, you feel more frustrated than usual with your future path.
There’s a link back to the past when Mars is retrograde. Reconnect with old contacts or take a second look at a project that didn’t work out.
The timing isn’t right to get things moving but you’ll have your chance from next month onwards. For now, you might want to let go of a position or role. Alternatively, you find that life steps in to move you in a new direction.
There are some dates that could coincide with conflict or disputes – they are the 9th, the 13th and the 19th. A lot depends on who you’re dealing with this month and your professional partnerships or connections could determine what next.

Mercury Retrograde
Mercury joins the retrograde party this month from the 14th onwards. In Scorpio, one of the water signs, the best advice is to chill out, prioritise enjoyment and do less not more.
You may decide to prioritise your family or children. It’s here where life feels not necessarily simple but brings you back to yourself.
You may also need to change your plans to step in to help a child, friend or loved one – key dates are the 7th and 20th. Or, perhaps unexpected news is the reason for a sudden change in schedule.

The New Moon in Libra on the 16th lights up your home and family sector. If you’re feeling troubled with what’s happening globally or your plans are thwarted this month, retreat to comfort and the ones you love.
Romance could be full on too as passionate as Scorpio rules your romance sector. Talk planet Mercury’s here until the 28th and the Sun enters Scorpio on the 22nd. The Full Moon on the 31st is a Blue Moon and feels spontaneous and unpredictable as it pulls in live-wire Uranus.
