November promises to be a big month with two key planets changing star sign, indicating a fresh input of energy. Your star sign, Cancer, is a water sign ruling the emotions. In November, you lose a planet in a water sign and gain one.

The big news is the fact that this month big planet, Jupiter, is on the move. On the 8th, Jupiter leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius. Jupiter is the planet of luck and opportunity. It has an expansive and boundless quality that taps into your desire to escape everyday reality and experience bliss in life. 

Jupiter takes approximately one year to journey through each sign of the zodiac. Since October 2017, Jupiter has been in your fellow water sign of Scorpio.

Scorpio rules all the good things in life in your horoscope, such as children, love affairs, creativity and entertainment. For some of you, there may have been the blessing of a pregnancy, a birth or new grandchild. For others, it could have been the start of a new love affair or the birth of a creative project.

Home and family are one area of life which will feel particularly appealing now. This is because of the planet of love and relating, Venus, in Libra throughout November. Plus, on the 16th, Venus turns direct after six weeks retrograde or on go slow. 

This is an ideal opportunity to pick up the phone and talk to someone you’ve been missing.  Reconnect with a long-lost family member or hold out the olive branch of peace. Forgive, forget and move on.

This is a lovely time to be more social at home and throw a party or invite round your friends or neighbours. If you live in the southern hemisphere, make the most of the summer sunshine. 

There’s a lightness and breezy feel to your stars when the emphasis is on sociable air signs. This is confirmed by Mars’ final stage through the sign of Aquarius where it’s been since May of this year.

Mars and Venus connect on the 9th, a wonderful day for love, but money matters can also prosper under these stars. Venus rules love and money and, like Jupiter, is associated with bounty. Plus, Mars in Aquarius highlights joint finances and shared resources.

Turn to family if you’re in need of financial or emotional support and be there for the ones you love in return. It’s a two-way relationship. Together you’re bigger and better than you are on your own. You may come up with a good idea on how to make money by renting out a room or changing your living situation in some way to benefit you and your family.

This month isn’t just about being at home, however, because, on the 15th, Mars changes star sign and enters your fellow water sign, Pisces. This activates your travel and study sector and it’s an ideal time to plan a holiday or big event for 2019. Fire up your imagination and allow your dreams and creative ideas to inspire you.

Work too gets more than a look in this month as key planets change star sign. Firstly, Jupiter moves into Sagittarius on the 8th, where it remains until December 2019. Sagittarius rules your work and routine, your lifestyle and your health. 

This is a lively combination and gives you extra get up and go. Over the next year, you may find the ideal job that frees up your time or fall in love with volunteering. Or perhaps, you decide to take part in activities and develop daily habits which boost your health and well-being.

Take notice of the opportunities that come your way this month on the 8th when there’s a Moon/Jupiter conjunction and on the 26th when there’s a Sun/Jupiter conjunction. These are potentially lucky planetary aspects. Play your cards right and your work, health and routine could soon be zinging with life and vitality.

There is one astrological indication, however, which suggests any new habits or ideas will take time to germinate or bring results. This is the fact that communication planet, Mercury, turns retrograde in Sagittarius on the 17th and remains on go slow until December 6th.

This can throws a spanner in the works or means you have to be patient and wait for an opportunity to materialise. Mercury retrograde is ideal for planning and doing research. Also, on the 27th, Mercury and Jupiter come together. 

This is internal rather than external but it can still help to sow good ideas. Write things down and get ready to implement your ideas or put them into action on December 21st when Mercury and Jupiter re-unite, this time both in forwards-moving motion. 

Plus, with live-wire Uranus moving back into Aries and your career and vocation sector on the 6th, this is not the time to stand still. Uranus brings change and remains here until March 6th 2019.
