Cancer (21 June – 22 July)
You’re running into the month of August with action planet Mars in your sign of Cancer up until the 8th.
This adds fire to your belly and passion to your soul and the first week of the month is the time to focus on you and your personal goals.
Saturn is also in action early in the week and Saturn is currently in the fun sector of your chart which is often anything but fun as Saturn is the planet of limitation and restriction. Yet Saturn often acts as a wake up call, the ‘get real’ planet and without planning and organisation, things don’t happen.
Look at what you want more of in life. Where are you having fun? Where do you experience joy? If there’s not enough play in your life right now, address it head on and decide what you can do to improve your situation.
Saturn turns direct in Scorpio on the 2nd and this is the time to push ahead with those activities which mean the most to you. Yet before you leap into action, check what you want to keep and what you’re ready to let go of. This is about not wasting your energy but instead choosing with care where you want to focus your time and attention. Creative projects and entertainment are currently under the cosmic spotlight.
Money too is big news now and this is because there’s a host of planets in Leo and your personal money sector. One planet that’s been in Leo for a whole year is Jupiter, the planet of opportunity and plenty.
Jupiter has been ruling money and your personal finances since July 2014 and when Jupiter’s unimpeded, it’s a smooth flow that suggests wealth and abundance. At the very least, you’ve hopefully been in flow with money and addressed your values and what truly matters to you.
On the 3rd, Jupiter clashes with Saturn and you might come across a situation in your life that can’t be resolved. This can impede the flow of money and perhaps one form of income comes to an end. This is again about knowing what’s important to you and what you value, a theme that plays out throughout the month as Venus, the planet of money, is retrograde or on go slow in your money sector.
This turns your attention inward and it’s the time to review your spending and to take a closer look at your financial situation.This month suggests an interim period when you know that your finances or earnings are going to shift considerably perhaps starting in September. Look at where you spend your cash and what you value. Look at your possessions, which are important to you and which you’re ready to let go of. Think of this as an inner and outer decluttering session.
You might need to include someone close to you in this re-evaluation, perhaps a child or children, a lover, either current or ex. Whoever or whatever’s holding you back, how can you move on from them so you’re free and no longer tied?
Saturn is your partner planet so it’s the first week of the month that’s vital for love as well as money. Think new agreements, new rules and boundaries that work for you rather than against you. If you’re struggling in a relationship or aware that you’re unhappy, Saturn’s change of direction is a sign that it’s time to do something about it.
Think of this as a process that will take you through the next few weeks as the resolution comes in September. For now, you’re looking at ways that you can get love right and to address any issues, perhaps to do with sex or parenting.
