Aquarius Season

It’s a super important Aquarius season this year. This is because the Sun enters Aquarius on January 20th. Then, one day later on January 21st, the planet of power, the dark and transformation Pluto enters Aquarius, the star sign linked to the collective, technology and space travel.

This is changing things on a global level and it’s no surprise that 2024 is the biggest year of elections around the world ever. The shift from Capricorn to Aquarius moves from hierarchical systems in government and big business to a more equal and sharing society, at least theoretically.

Keep your eye on what happens when Pluto brings its laser focus to Aquarius. In our latest episode of Astrology Talk Podcast, Christina and I talk about what Pluto’s move into Aquarius means for the world and what it means when you encounter Pluto on a personal level.

Another big theme this year is the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus which takes place on April 21st. The planets of freedom and liberation come together for the first time in 13 years in Taurus, an earth sign.

Expect new innovations which benefit the earth we walk on, also technological innovations around money, food and art, all Taurus themes. Jupiter and Uranus working together are often a symbol of the entrepreneur and encourage you to take a leap of faith. They’re bound to bring surprises too.

Why are they relevant in Aquarius season? Partly because Uranus is Aquarius’ co-ruling planet. Also, because the Full Moon on January 25th is square to Jupiter and the New Moon on February 9th is square to Uranus.

These combinations are lively. It could be a celebratory Full Moon and there could be a catalyst for new beginnings on or around the New Moon. Lots to embrace moving forward.

Also, the inner planets are wrapping up business in earth sign Capricorn, so consider what’s coming to an end and where you’re wise to turn your gaze to future ideas.
