The best news for you in November is the fact that your ruling planet Mars is powerful and strong in the earth sign Capricorn. Mars is the planet of action and likes to go directly from A to B preferably at top speed.
Capricorn is the sign of planning and strategy, work and achievement and a steadying influence. The two entities combine well together and this is cool and calculated, a focused and determined energy.
Mars remains in Capricorn until December 4th and it’s now when you can plan ahead and look at what you want to achieve in 2015. Work out a long-term plan; draw up a strategy and focus on projects and goals not only for the end of this year but the year ahead. If October was all over the place, a month of chaotic madness, you can now make amends and get a lot done.
In fact, this is a great month to prioritise work and decide where you’re heading and what next. Mars in Capricorn loves to be the boss, the one in charge, the one making the decisions. It’s a fearless combination, brave and bold.
At the start of the month, Mars teams up in a dreamy, creative aspect with Neptune in Pisces on the 1st and this would be a good weekend to spend on a personal development/spiritual course or journalling, whether you’re interested in career inspiration or dream interpretation. Use your imagination to bring your vision to life and turn dreams into reality.
Mid-month Mars clashes with the Uranus-Pluto square on the 10th (Pluto) and 13th (Uranus) and this is more volatile. Next month December sees the sixth meeting of these mighty Titans and since 2012 they have been changing the way you work or do business.
Mars is powerful right now and even though things are intense you’re the one in the driving seat who can call the shots. This is perhaps not the best week of the month to go overboard to get your own way at work but if you do have a tough meeting then be steely and focused and don’t let other people get away with murder and play to win.
Money matters too are under the cosmic spotlight this month as Saturn nears the end of it’s long transit through Scorpio, the sign that in your chart rules joint finances and shared resources. This is another area of life where you need to up your game and get serious. Last month’s solar eclipse in Scorpio on October 23rd may have brought new information to light and eclipses can be exposing.
Plus Mercury, the communication planet, re-enters Scorpio on November 8th after being in retrograde motion last month. The 8th-10th are powerful dates for money matters and this would be a good weekend to sit down, go through paperwork, talk to your partner about cash and draw up a plan about what you need to do to tidy up your financial situation.
For some, Saturn’s long transit through Scorpio has been a time of debt, loans or having your money tied in to long-term deals. This is the time to try and bring some of these transactions or any financial burden to an end. You’re looking for closure and need to think what next with regard to cash and look at setting up new deals that benefit you. Scorpio rules inheritances, investments, mortgages and any form of money lending.
The key dates to note are the 6th when there’s a Full Moon cutting across the financial axis of your chart and this is a good date to make some key financial decisions. Plus the 13th, 18th and 26th are dates when Saturn makes a close conjunction to Venus, the Sun and Mercury respectively. This isn’t a light energy by any means and depending on your current situation, you could feel indebted to someone or a financial institution.
The best advice is to confront your situation head on rather than bury your head in the sand. Be savvy, get sound financial advice if necessary and do what you can to ease your situation as you head towards the end of one year and the beginning of a new year.
Some sound budgeting would help now so look at ways of cutting costs, whether you cut out your daily coffee, cancel a gym membership you rarely use or you can think of other ways to make your money go further. A money-saving website is another option. Think lean and mean and resist the temptation to splurge on Christmas presents. Pulling in the reins now will make your start to 2015 a whole lot easier.
Holidays and travel are also under the cosmic spotlight this month. If you want to book a holiday for next year, another good reason why it’s worth sorting out your finances so you can create a holiday budget. Look out for a travel bargain at the New Moon on the 22nd which falls in the travel sign of Sagittarius. Sagittarius rules courses and life experience as well as holidays and it’s the second half of November that will find you wanting to broaden your horizons.
If you’re looking for love this month, the first week and the last week are your best chances for meeting someone new. Saturday 1st is great for a date or socialising and Thursday 27th is especially lively when Venus the love planet teams up with Uranus in your own sign of Aries. Look out for someone who’s foreign, a student or teacher or the person who makes you laugh out loud. This month’s focus is primarily on work and money but there’ll also be time to have some fun.
