Aries (21 March-19 April)
Your ruling planet Mars is in wanderlust Sagittarius until the 17th firing up your desire for adventure.
Tap into your enthusiasm and energy and find ways to do more of what you love, especially if it involves travel, study, philosophy or spirituality. Whatever enables you to broaden your horizons and reach out to the wider world attracts a cosmic tick of approval.
However, don’t expect everything to progress in linear fashion this month as Mercury, the communication planet, is on go slow from the 6th-26th and Mercury turns retrograde in Sagittarius. Plus there’s a double whammy effect of an eclipse cutting across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis on the 28th of the month.
You’re going to have to work extra hard if you do want to get away, study or follow your dream. It’s not impossible (and if anyone enjoys rising to a challenge, it’s you) but it’s important to remain flexible, double check all your arrangements and have plan B up your sleeve.
When Mercury’s on go slow, you often find that your plans change suddenly and you don’t receive what you expect. Also if you’re waiting for news, you may have a delay on your hands. The end of the month looks particularly interesting as Mercury’s move forward brings new information to light a couple of days before the eclipse. Expect a dramatic turn-around of events, whether you’re planning a holiday or sorting out who’s visiting who at Christmas. The best advice is to keep your options open and see what emerges towards the end of the month.
Another factor to consider is work and career as Mars moves into Capricorn, the sign up at the top of your chart, on the 17th and the action for the rest of the month is fast and furious. Mars excels in Capricorn as this is the hard worker, it’s ambitious and go-getting and potentially successful. I wouldn’t be surprised if you find work taking off mid-month, whether you decide to take on a part-time Christmas job to earn extra cash or you simply find that you’ve built up some hard work good karma which starts to pay dividends.
Pluto, the planet of intensity, is also in Capricorn and square rebellious, individual Uranus in Aries. This combination is slow-moving and will continue to play out in your life over the next few years. The general picture signals change, sometimes sudden and unexpected, sometimes of your own doing and sometimes because of circumstances beyond your control. The more strings you have to your bow, the better and the more you tap into new technology and entrepreneurial ideas, the more likely you are to make significant progress.
It is a fairly chaotic picture, however, not without its ups and downs and again you need to be flexible yet strong. Fight for what you want, make demands if necessary and support what you believe in. If your company is looking for a spokesperson, put yourself forward; if you want to defend other people’s rights, you can make your mark.
Mars teams up with Neptune on the 17th and Saturn on the 24th and these two planets are about turning dreams into reality. Saturn’s in your cash sector, but money that belongs to other people rather than your own. This means it’s an excellent time to sort out investments, savings, debts, mortgages, etc. You may be considering a new partnership that you feel will help you achieve financial security. Saturn can represent loss or lack and for some people it’s been a difficult start to Saturn in Scorpio (5th October onwards) but Saturn’s about building for the future, thinking long term and working hard to achieve your rewards. The more you can do now to secure your financial future, the more relaxed you’ll feel in a few years time.
On the money front, take care with finances on or around the 13th when there’s an eclipse in Scorpio. Often with eclipse energy, one person benefits whilst another person loses out and you want to try and be on the winning team. It’s not a good date, however, to take a big risk financially. Instead, wait until later in the month before finalising any kind of financial or business deal. The key date is the 26th when Mercury turns direct in Scorpio and brings new information to light.
Finally this month, Venus, your partner planet, is in lovely Libra until the 22nd. Since Saturn left this part of your chart, there’s been a chance to do love differently. Venus is a soft, kind, loving energy and suggests reconciliation. For some, work may get in the way of love this month but if so find little ways to remind your other half that you’re thinking of them and send love their way. A relationship becomes more intense after the 22nd but at last you’re working in harmony. There’s a lot going on in your life now and it’s not without significant change but the more you pull together with a loved one and create a strong team, the closer the bond between you.
