Money remains important moving into the month of May. The Sun is in Taurus and your personal money sector until the 20th and talk planet Mercury is here until the 11th.
Unpredictable and volatile Uranus isn’t as evident this month as it was in April, except on the 25th when taking a risk could work in your favour. Tackle the serious matters in life and crack on with money and work plans.
This will mean different things depending on your current situation. Yet, throughout May, there’s strong emphasis on the earth signs, especially Taurus and Capricorn.
For you, this is about being persistent and determined when it comes to work and money. Put one foot in front of the other and do what you can within your limitations.
The Full Moon on the 7th could shed a light on new developments. Events on 9th/10th and 15th/17th may bring some luck and transformation your way. The theme is rebirth or renewal. Make your aim to build stronger foundations in your life for you and your family.
A Change of Heart
This is a key month to prove your flexibility and adaptability. All the personal planets will be in mutable signs, in this case Gemini and Pisces, by the 20th. One of this month’s lessons is learning when to keep going and when to let go and move on.
The major shift takes place in the middle of the month. Venus’ change of direction on the 13th will be felt the most as this is one of the personal planets. Yet, both Saturn and Jupiter turn retrograde on the 11th and 14th respectively. A change of gear is needed, time to stop and reassess once again.
Venus is on go slow in Gemini and your communication sector from May 13th until June 25th. As Venus is your partner planet, this is about love and relationships.
Perhaps, you’re apart from the one you love. Or, maybe you have little to say to one another. Sometimes, when Venus is retrograde, there’s silence rather than chatter. It’s a key time to turn inwards for insight and reflection.
Keep Your Wits About You
There’s a wistful, yearning feeling about love as Venus is square to Neptune on the 4th and 20th. In fact, this is the only major aspect that Venus makes throughout May, except for an encounter with Mercury on the 22nd. The 22nd is pivotal as this is the day of a New Moon in Gemini, a symbol of new beginnings.
It may not be so much about a fresh start for you. Perhaps, it’s about news you receive or an important conversation that needs to happen. A change of attitude or mind-set, a chance to rethink what’s working and what’s not, to start over in some way.
You want to keep the lines of communication open within close relationships. And yet, there’s subterfuge and illusion, thanks to Neptune’s role. It’s an elusive theme, so be careful that you don’t jump to conclusions and don’t believe everything you hear. This applies with regard to the news as well.
Mars On The Move
Sometimes, you have to accept you don’t know what’s happening. Allow life to unfold and look after your own well-being as best you can in the midst of confusion. This is an important learning for you because on the 13th, your planet Mars leaves behind air sign Aquarius and enters water sign Pisces.
Aquarius is objective, the star sign linked to society and community, friends and groups. Pisces is emotional, the star sign linked to dreams and imagination. In your case, Pisces brings retreat or a step back from the world.
For some of you, this will call out your compassionate nature and desire to put others needs first. There’s a self-sacrificing theme with Mars in Pisces as it’s not about the ego. Instead, it’s about finding something beyond the self that can bring consolation, reassurance and hope.
Mars is in Pisces the whole time that Venus is retrograde in Gemini until the end of June. You may be on a spiritual path. Or be more aware of your emotions and feel your vulnerability.
Seek solace in music, art, poetry, film or TV – find good ways to ‘lose yourself’. Avoid falling into drink & drugs as Neptune’s lure can pull you in different directions.
Also, it’s important to note that your planet Mars will come home to Aries on June 28th and won’t leave your star sign until early January 2021. If you want to rest up or take it easy before the second half of the year kicks in, do so. It looks as if you’re going to be called forth in life, whether you’re on the frontline or ready for action in your personal world.
