Aries December 2020

Fire Power

Your ruling planet Mars is strong throughout December in your star sign Aries. Mars has been in Aries since late June 2020 and is now completing its journey through the most personal sector of your horoscope. It will leave Aries on January 6, 2021.

Mars in Aries is competitive, forthright, determined and strong. This is a good time to push for what you want, to go all out to end the year on a high. Put yourself first and make your personal goals and aims high priority.

Your star sign Aries is one of the fire signs, motivated and dynamic. This month, another fire sign, Sagittarius, takes centre stage.

The Sun is here until the 21st and talk planet Mercury is in Sagittarius from the 1st to the 20th. Plus, your ruler Mars teams up with the Sun on the 11th & Mercury on the 15th.

Solar Eclipse

This dynamic planetary combination revs up a a powerful New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on the 14th. Solar Eclipses are New Moons with turbo power. They can represent key turning points in your life when you take action and make things happen.

The star sign Sagittarius represents higher education, also life experience in your horoscope. It’s about travel, living abroad, your philosophy on life, your beliefs and religion.

You won’t want to keep life small this month, that’s for sure. And, if you’re planning to move abroad or celebrate the festive season in a different country or amongst a different culture, you’re in tune with your stars.

Capricorn’s Domain

The major movement this month involves Jupiter & Saturn, the leaders of the planets. Both of them leave Capricorn, the star sign at the peak of your horoscope, linked to your career and vocation, your status and reputation, on the 17th & 19th.

Jupiter’s the best planet in astrology and it takes approximately one year to move through each sign of the zodiac.

Jupiter’s been in Capricorn since December 2019 which usually brings new opportunities, success and a wealth of work. However, this year, Jupiter had both Saturn & Pluto along for the ride, slowing things down.

Yet, you may still have found a way to break free from the daily grind or follow your vocation. For some of you, this year might have brought a much-needed sabbatical from work or an opportunity to try something new.

Big planets are leaving Capricorn but both the Sun and Mercury enter Capricorn on the 20th & 21st. Therefore, keep your attention focused on your future path.

If you can raise your profile, do so and ensure other people know who you are and what you have to offer. If you have a particular business or entrepreneurial goal, make the most of this peak astrology.

The Full Moon on the 30th could be a pivotal date in this respect as it cuts across the Cancer/Capricorn axis of the zodiac and the foundations of your horoscope.

You often see your situation clearly during the Full Moon. Trust your intuition in knowing what steps to take so you can harness this strong forward-moving energy.

This may include an ending related to your work or career. On the 23rd, Mars clashes with Pluto in Capricorn, a conflict that’s been going on since August. This combination is often final bringing matters to a head.

Jupiter Saturn Conjunction

Jupiter & Saturn move into Aquarius and make their Great Conjunction on the 21st. Aquarius highlights friends, groups, social concerns and your wider network.

This is about finding people of like minds and making sure that your social life is not only fun but supportive too. Bring new friends into your life by enjoying new activities and make an effort to catch up with old friends.

If you’ve been successful while Jupiter’s been in Capricorn or you’ve had a chance to follow your vocation, take what you do out into the wider world and get other people on board who can help you.

Gather people around you, a team of people of like minds who can work alongside you and make life not only easier but enjoyable and fun too. There’s power in connections and this planetary move confirms it for you. Dig deep to learn more about your close friends and create ties that can’t be broken.

December’s astrology is encouraging you to embrace freedom, to move on from a group situation that’s grown stale or wherever you feel trapped. Spread your wings, go global and seek a wider family of people whereby you can support one another moving into 2021.

  1. Hi Sally. The solar eclipse on the 14th is going to hit my 9th house, which is at exactly 23 degrees. Is this a positive eclipse? Happy holidays!

    1. It’s potentially a great eclipse for fire signs – Aries, Leo, Sagittarius. Eclipses are tricky to predict as they can either trigger breakdowns or breakthroughs but a 9th house eclipse sounds inspiring. Hope so.

  2. Hi Sally, I am Aries Rising, Sag moon. I’ve got a SUDDEN offer to change my job and position on the 17th. We know that this was a big date! So, I’ve had 3 circles of interview in only 2 days. They want me! I am a bit sceptical though, due to hard work and Saturn in Cap in the 10th for the last couple of years. I am afraid as it seems I still wait to see what is the catch or a trap behind the corner. Is it really finally time for a big POSITIVE change for us? And yes, I am shocked because the job is related to new technology (Aqua) and logistics.

Thank you for your insight and happy holidays.

    Regards. ☺
