Aquarius September 2018

Aquarius, earth

Aquarius (21 January – 18 February)

In the first few days of September, you can bring a matter to completion that’s been tricky to handle or difficult to negotiate. This involves a significant person in your life, either a personal or professional partnership. Notice what happens on the 3rd when Mercury in your opposite star sign Leo connects with Venus in Libra.

This feels conciliatory and could indicate a positive settlement or reconciliation. This might involve a legal issue or be about your education or a visa situation. Potentially, it’s a time when the universe is in flow.

This month, however, is more about creating firm foundations for yourself and your family and focusing on your work, money matters, where you’re heading and why. This is partly because of a predominance of planets in earth signs and, on the 7th, there’s a Grand Earth Trine in the heavens.

This may be about money for you, especially as talk planet Mercury is in Virgo and your joint finance sector from the 6th to the 21st. This is an excellent time for negotiations or drawing up new contracts with regard to your financial security.

More importantly for you, however, Mercury makes a triangle shape with your two ruling planets, Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus. This is personal. You may be negotiating a property deal or be in talks with members of your family sorting out assets, a debt situation or other legal or financial issues.

Uranus at the base of your horoscope can feel destabilising and sometimes rootless. Uranus represents change whereas the star sign Taurus is fixed and solid. It’s a mismatch of energies.

Ideally, you want to combine the old with the new this month or the young and the old perhaps, bringing different generations together. Caring for both the elderly and the young is a key feature of this month’s earth sign energy.

Yes, change is required but don’t let go completely of what’s already been set in place. Your planet Saturn turning direct on the 6th might tell you more.

Also, the New Moon on the 9th is ideal for working out the best possible financial deal, although it’s important to keep matters real. Let go of fantasy, dreams or pie-in-the sky ideas. They won’t make you money. Instead, think property, bonds and possessions you can get your hands on.

Note too that lucky Jupiter continues its year-long transit through Scorpio and your career and vocation sector. Events that happens around the 11th/12th could be pivotal when Jupiter connects with the planet of transformation, Pluto.

There is a theme of karma with this planetary combination, i.e. you reap what you sow. Think about what this symbolism means for you with regard to your career and your next steps in life. Are you moving on or creating tighter bonds with the past?

There is another planet that joins Jupiter in Scorpio this month, which is Venus, the planet of relating. It moves into your career and vocation sector on the 9th and remains here for the majority of the next four months. On the one hand, this is about using your connections and schmoozing people of influence.

On the other hand, it’s a hint that business and pleasure come together, whether you meet someone new through your place of work or you go into business with your other half.

The biggest and best news for you is the fact that on the 11th, action planet Mars returns to Aquarius where it remains until November 15th. As Mars rules passion, ambition, physical energy and get-up-and-go, you’re back in the hot zone. This can benefit you both personally and professionally, as long as you don’t get overly stressed or wear yourself out.

The theme of balance kicks in once Mercury enters Libra on the 22nd followed by the Equinox on the 23rd, as the Sun moves into Libra. Both planets connect with Mars on the 24th and 27th.

Add in a Full Moon cutting across the Libra/Aries axis of the zodiac and this is your cue to travel, take time out, get away. This is particularly pertinent if you’re handling some big responsibilities in your life. Take a break so you come back feeling refreshed.
