Aquarius Monthly Stars March 2013

Aquarius Maldives StampAquarius (20 January-18 February)

A host of planets are in Pisces and your money sector as the month begins. One of these planets is Mercury and it’s currently retrograde. This confuses the issue and makes money matters especially complex. You may feel as if you’re going round in circles and any key negotiations or financial dealings are going to take time to come together.

As Mercury doesn’t turn direct until the 17th, you’re wise to keep your options open until that point before deciding what you want to do regarding an issue that will affect you financially. Mercury’s forward motion often brings news you’ve been waiting for or new information comes to light and your situation changes again. This is the reason why it’s worth biding your time where money’s concerned.

However, that’s not to say you should sit back and do nothing whatever the state of your finances. In fact, with so much activity in your money sector, this is the ideal time to go over old ground, try again with a job that didn’t come off first time around and do your accounts. It’s often second- or even third-time lucky when Mercury’s changing direction so don’t give up, whatever your most pressing issue. Keep plugging away, try different tactics and look at your situation from different perspectives. Get other peoples’ advice and once mid-month comes around, you’ll be well-informed and ready to take action.

Another key date for making things happen is the 11th when there’s a New Moon in Pisces. This signals the chance to make a fresh start and it’s an excellent date for new beginnings. In addition this month your ruling planet Saturn is being helpful especially in the first week. Saturn is currently in Scorpio up at the top of your chart so you’re either in a new position of responsibility, you’re overloaded with work or you’re in the middle of a work drought.

Saturn never makes things easy but it is a powerful influence in Scorpio whether there’s someone in a position of power who can help you or you have realised that if you’re going to achieve X, Y and Z, then it’s time to knuckle down and get on with it. Things don’t change overnight with Saturn but if you draw up a long-term plan in your life and stick to it, you can create great things.

However even though Saturn’s helpful for creating order out of chaos and setting new structures in place, don’t forget that with Mercury retrograde, it’s wise to put off major decision with regard to finances until the 17th.

The second half of the month feels incredibly fast-paced after the swirling maelstrom of Pisces energy and this starts on the 12th when Mars, the action planet, enters speedy Aries. Mars is joined by the Sun at the spring equinox on the 20th and Venus on the 22nd. In addition your co-ruler Uranus is also in Aries and meets up with each of the personal planets one after another and in a great big rush.

In fact, Uranus is all about rush and things happening quickly and in this case it’s the total opposite of Saturn. As Aries is your communication sector expect news to come in thick and fast from the 22nd onwards. There’s a powerful Full Moon on the 27th which cuts across the Aries/Libra axis and you need to make a major decision at this time. This could involve a moral or legal issue and you will feel it’s important to speak your mind even if that’s not what someone wants or needs to hear.

If you’re typical of your sign, your principles and beliefs are incredibly important to you and you don’t like any form of injustice or bad behaviour. The actions you take in the last week of the month will have consequences but in your heart you know that it’s important you do or say what you think is right.

The last week of the month may prove important for relationships as well as the Sun is your partner planet and on the 29th the Sun and Uranus meet suddenly and unexpectedly. This means meeting someone new or having a key conversation that sparks up a whole new area of interest for you and your other half. Anything goes.
