[Update 1st July: Apologies to my Aquarius subscribers to the newsletter as I couldn’t even send you a direct link to your monthly stars. I hope you found your way here…]
Aquarius (20 January-18 February)
This is a big month for many of you Aquarians for a number of reasons. Firstly, your planet Saturn turns direct in the heavens on the 8th of July after being retrograde, i.e. on go slow since mid-February. This brings a turning point and a possible change of direction.
As Saturn is up at the top of your chart in your career sector plus Saturn turns direct on the same day as a New Moon in Cancer and your work sector, this is an important date for work and career decisions. A New Moon often suggests a new beginning or the chance to make a fresh start but with Saturn involved this may mean one door has to close before another door can open.
It’s important to bear in mind that Mercury is retrograde in Cancer until the 20th July and this is traditionally not a good time to make major decisions, simply because new information comes to light once Mercury turns direct. You have to filter this information into your own life and see what it means for your personal situation.
If work’s been tough, for example, then Saturn turning direct could bring more pressure or responsibility your way. If you’ve been out of work, you may realise things have got to change and you need to try a fresh approach to job hunting. For some, it may be that changes are afoot for your boss or a company you work for which will inevitably have a knock-on effect in your own life.
What’s also important to note is that at the end of last month, Jupiter, the planet of opportunity, moved into Cancer where it will remain for the next 12 months. This does put the focus on work rather than career, and freedom rather than responsibility and will give your work/life balance a significant boost as the year progresses. Admittedly, it may be slow going for now with Mercury up to its tricks but the promise is there.
Cancer is the sign that rules your health as well as your work and this is why it’s important to get your work/life balance on track and to look after yourself mind, body and soul. With Jupiter in Cancer, it’s the perfect time to consider a healthier lifestyle, whether you include daily fitness or healthy food into your diet. If you feel you’d benefit from visiting an alternative health practitioner, Jupiter’s giving you the green light so make an appointment once Mercury is direct.
However, it’s the few days before Mercury turns that are especially interesting this month and can bring a minor miracle your way. From the 17th-19th July there’s a Grand Water Trine in the heavens which includes your ruler Saturn in Scorpio trine Jupiter in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces. The focus on your work and money sectors suggests it’s these areas of your life that will receive a boost in some shape or form.
Jupiter and Neptune are a charitable influence as well and this indicates that the more you give, the more you will receive. When water signs dominate it’s important to do what feels right rather than what you think is right so go with the flow and follow your heart and your passion.
There is another reason why this month’s stars may be more about letting go and paring back your life than adding to it. This is because of two more contacts of the ongoing Uranus-Pluto square which is especially important for you as Uranus is your co-ruling planet in your communication sector. These planets are active on the 2nd-4th July and the 27th July-1st August. Together these two bring change and this month, it’s your work or lifestyle that’s shifting.
You may find that you have to speak up with Uranus in your communication sector especially if you encounter any form of injustice or corruption. If you’re a typical Aquarius, you have a strong moral code and often become involved in political, social or environmental concerns. Speaking up won’t be easy and may well come with consequences attached but this time around you’ll do what you have to do.
This is also a big month for love with Venus in your relationship sector until the 22nd when it passes the baton on to the Sun, your partner planet. Meeting someone new could happen quickly in the first two weeks of July and if you feel passionately about this person, don’t be surprised if you’re willing to commit and fast.
The Full Moon on the 22nd falls in your sign of Aquarius putting the spotlight on your role within a relationship and what’s unusual about this Full Moon is that next month on August 21st there’s a second Full Moon in Aquarius. It makes this a dramatic time for love and relationships and some of you will be getting married or engaged or feel ready to settle down.
Your ruler Saturn squares Venus on the 1st and the Sun on the 28th, however, so any relationship decision won’t be made easily. It’s is as if you have to weigh up the gains versus the losses and what you win on the one hand you may lose on the other hand.
For some of you, work has to come first this month as well which may mean time apart from a loved one but with such promising work stars dominating your month, again you may feel as if you have no option. A strong relationship will survive and in a relationship that’s not right for you, this may be the catalyst that allows you to move on.
Read both your Sun sign and your Ascendant sign for a full prediction. If you don’t know your Ascendant but know your time of birth, send me your birth data (date, time, place of birth) and I’ll let you know your Ascendant (the sign that was rising on the horizon when you were born). If you’re born on the cusp and you’re unsure of your Sun sign, send me your birth data and I’ll confirm it for you. I’m here to help.
