Aquarius (20 January – 18 February)
There’s a lot of action in your opposite sign of Leo as the month begins which has to spell good news for love and relationships. On the 1st of the month, the lovers of the heavens, Venus and Mars, come together in Leo and this symbolises unity, equality and harmony in love.
When the feminine and masculine principles unite, there’s a sense of accord, an ability to get on with other people and to feel balanced within yourself. These personal planets connect three times in 2015 but this is the most powerful aspect for you as they conjoin in Leo and your relationship sector.
Plus five days later on the 6th, Venus, the love planet, turns direct in the heavens after six weeks on go slow. If someone’s been absent from your life, you’ve been waiting for a lover, you’ve been confused about your own or someone else’s desires, Venus turning direct is the equivalent of a green light in the heavens. Love is back on track and whoever pops up in your life on or around this date is meant to be.
If you need to sort out any relationship issues, this is a powerful date to do so. Don’t forget that Venus rules money as well as love and Leo represents all your 1-to-1 negotiations, both personal and professional. Look out for a confident woman who can give you what you need.
Venus remains in your relationship sector throughout September and this is a key month to work at love and to wear your heart on your sleeve. Mars, the planet that rules passion and libido, is also in this sector of your chart until the 25th so make the most of it.
Plus, both planets connect with your ruling planet Uranus on the 8th and 23rd and this is lovely for finding love, meeting someone new, a proposal, a significant conversation. Be spontaneous and invite other people in. There’s excitement in the air when it comes to love and your 1-to-1’s.
This is potentially an important month for both work and money matters and there are a couple of reasons for this. On the 18th, your traditional ruling planet Saturn leaves behind Scorpio and your career sector where it’s been since mid-June 2015.
Take note of what you’ve been up to career wise over the last three months. Was it a successful period when you were working hard or in a responsible position? Were you unemployed or out of work? This was a short stay of Saturn in your career sector but the taskmaster of the heavens was also in this part of your chart from October 2012 until December 2014. For some, the last few months have been a period of completion, working towards a deadline, wrapping things up.
Saturn moving on from this part of your chart indicates a shift in your career. Less hard work perhaps, more ease with regard to your future career, a change of attitude. Saturn enters Sagittarius and your friendship and group sector on the 18th where it remains until the end of 2017.
This is where to focus your energy now whether you can use your connections to help you, whether you’re tired of going it alone or whether you have a different vision or purpose for the next stage in your life.
Yours is one of the most humanitarian signs of the zodiac and for some, Saturn’s move into Sagittarius is an indication that money and status will matter less to you and you’ll want to do your bit for the world and back a good cause.
Right now however, money is under the cosmic spotlight and it’s one area of your life that is important to get right. Don’t avoid money or financial issues and deal with matters as soon as they arise. Virgo is one of your money sectors and when planets are in Virgo, you need to pay attention to detail, to be thorough, to set up systems that work for you.
On the 13th, there’s a solar eclipse in Virgo and eclipses bring what’s hidden to light. This is why it’s important to deal with any key financial matter before this date.
Plus four days later on the 17th, Jupiter in Virgo is opposed by Neptune in Pisces. Jupiter is the planet of opportunity and abundance and with Jupiter in your joint finance sector for the next 12 months, you’re going to be willing to take risks with money, to invest, to expand your portfolio. It’s a lucky influence.
However, that’s not to say you can leap into anything this month because Neptune adds confusion to the mix. This is the planet of scams, deceit and illusion so not everything is as it seems in the middle of September. Be careful you don’t get seduced by the promise of a good offer and avoid any dodgy looking salesperson.
Plus on the same day as the Jupiter-Neptune opposition, Mercury, the planet of communication, turns retrograde. This confirms that everything is not as it seems as Mercury retrograde obscures the facts and you can’t believe everything you hear.
In fact, when it comes to the big money moves and decisions, you’re wise to wait until mid-October before making them. Mercury remains retrograde or on go slow until October 9th and it’s notoriously a period when there are misunderstandings and you don’t have the full picture. So pace yourself with regard to money matters. Get busy early in the month and then play a waiting game until your stars are more in line with financial good fortune.
Mercury turns retrograde in your fellow air sign of Libra, ruling travel and education. If you’re keen to book a holiday or sign up to a course, do so before the 17th. Once Mercury’s on go slow, it’s important to double check travel documents and confirm any sign ups or key correspondence. Things can easily go missing when Mercury’s up to its tricks so be super efficient to ensure that nothing is dropped.
Plus the lunar eclipse which takes place on the 28th cuts across the Aries/Libra axis of your chart highlighting education and communication. Eclipses are notoriously shadowy and again things aren’t as they seem.
You might afind you change your mind or a place on a course or a seat on a plane suddenly becomes unavailable. It’s worth being flexible and having plan B up your sleeve if you’re about to set off on your travels or begin a new course or period of study.
