Aquarius December 2019

Aquarius, winter

Social Vibes

This month, the emphasis is on the star sign, Sagittarius, up until the 22nd, the day of the Solstice. The Sun is here until then and sociable Mercury is in Sagittarius from the 9th to the 29th.

This sector of your horoscope rules your friends and group activities and this is likely to be a social time of year for you. You are one of the air signs. If you’re a typical Aquarius, you will have many people you want to catch up with over the next few weeks and in to the holiday season.

The big news this month, however, is the fact that expansive Jupiter is on the move leaving fire sign, Sagittarius, on the 2nd and entering earth sign Capricorn. Jupiter takes approximately one year to journey through each sign of the zodiac and has been in Sagittarius since November 2018.

Sagittarius not only rules friends and groups in your horoscope, also social concerns, politics, humanitarian and environmental networks. At its best, Jupiter brings luck and opportunity your way. Your friends may have been fortunate for you. Perhaps, you’ve joined a new group or club that’s expanded your horizons or you’ve been involved with a charity or organisation.

As Jupiter leaves this part of your horoscope, consider where you’re ready to move on. Ensure you have people in your life who arouse your imagination and inspire your dreams. Move away from drama and towards creativity or a spiritual path. Finding people of like minds this month brings comfort and reassurance your way.

Jupiter Goals – Peace & Retreat

Jupiter’s move into Capricorn turns your attention towards the most hidden sector of your horoscope. Capricorn is the sign before your star sign, Aquarius, and Jupiter remains here until December 2020.

This is your opportunity to focus on your inner world, develop your spirituality or your trust and faith in life and the universe. You may see more clearly the connection between mind, body and spirit and you would benefit from going on retreat or bringing more silence and solitude into your life. Quiet times are nourishing and nurturing.

This could indicate a period when you choose to go into therapy or explore life beyond the everyday and the obvious. Push back the boundaries of your life and get to know yourself or the universe on a deeper and more expansive level.

Embrace the quieter side of life or a spiritual activity close to the 27th when there’s a Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn. This combination is perfect for caring for yourself or taking care of others.

This theme is flagged up on the 15th too, when Jupiter in Capricorn unites with your co-ruler Uranus in Taurus. Taurus is the star sign at the base of your horoscope ruling your home and family, your past and where you come from. It would be a great date to do something special with your loved ones, whether you take a trip down memory lane or embrace a new addition to your family.

Know that this is a key time of preparation when Jupiter is in Capricorn. It’s paving the way for Jupiter’s momentous move in to Aquarius on December 19, 2020. Start planning ahead and consider how you want to get ready for one of the biggest years in your life, 2021.

You might choose to study or immerse yourself in research. You may have a bigger goal plan that you’re working towards. Do whatever’s right for you personally.

Capricorn Solar Eclipse

This month, there is also a New Moon or Solar Eclipse in Capricorn on the 26th, the day before the Sun/Jupiter conjunction. Eclipses are associated with drama and change, so this is potentially complex astrology. You might find yourself in the dark and need to feel your way forwards carefully.

This eclipse is part of the Cancer/Capricorn eclipse cycle which began in July 2018 and completes in July 2020. For you, it’s about your work and routine, your lifestyle and health. Also, rest and retreat, your inner world and private concerns.

Eclipses bring change to your situation. They’re neither good nor bad but often coincide with times when external events have a knock on effect in your life. Work is one area where you’re wise to tread carefully and it’s a good idea to get on the right side of other people.

Consider what this means for you. Perhaps, there’s someone you don’t get on with at work or you find out about a secret enemy, someone working against you. This isn’t a good month to try and manipulate or control others, even if you feel hard done by.

Benevolent Goals

There is an important reason why life may not slow down as much as you would like in December. This is because action planet, Mars, is in Scorpio the star sign at the peak of your horoscope.

Mars is dynamic and strong in Scorpio and this is an ideal time to turn your attention towards your career and vocation. Scorpio rules your future sector, where you’re heading and why.

Here too, there’s a charitable or giving edge to your astrology. Your goals and ambitions may include other people. Selfish gestures are out and benevolent acts are in. You could be organising a fundraiser at work or find a way to benefit other people. Have faith in what you’re doing and trust that things will work out well for you.

Love Planet Venus

Finally, love planet, Venus, enters your star sign, Aquarius, on the 20th, just in time for the festive period. If it’s all work and service in your life up until then, prioritise love and good times over the holiday season.
